We specialise in meze style lunches. Come and choose from a range of authentic moroccan and arabian dishes of meat, fish, cheese and vegetables. We serve real tagines throughout the day,... Delicious chicken, succulent lamb and spicy vegetable. Every thursday, friday and saturday we are open in the evening from 7pm until late as a moroccan restaurant, serving up steaming tagines and moist roast lamb dishes. Vegetarians are also well catered for here with a minimum of three dishes on any menu. We are currently unlicensed, but you are always more than welcome to bring your own alcohol. We do not charge any corkage and have everything here that you will need. The facility is available for private hire for parties and meetings, where food is required in a relaxing atmosphere. “Wonderful lunch”
Reviewed 13 May 2014

Went here with friends for lunch - one of them had been here before and had recommended that we all try it. A very good menu - you can have sandwiches and paninis, etc, as well as morrocan mezze or mains. I wasn't very hungry, so I plumped for the mezze - really good value at £4 for your choice of four items plus a flatbread. I think there were about 20 different items to choose from. They were absolutely gorgeous. I suddenly discovered my appetite and had a couple more at £1 each. The mains looked very good at £7.50 each - mostly tagine style. The décor is very interesting and the service both welcoming and attentive. A lovely place to relax - I will be back.

Visited this restaurant with 2 friends, the owner of the restaurant served us and I couldn't fault him. He was very polite, couldn't be more helpful and the food was amazing!
I would definitely go back again & definitely recommend this!

“Intimate & Friendly”
Reviewed 2 May 2014

The headlines are this: cosy, intimate setting, superb food, superb service and reasonably priced, and a little different to the norm. I can certainly recommend it. We had been trying to get a table for a while after doing a search for Kent on TA and finding it. It's a small intimate restaurant, with few tables this is primarily why also the manager explained that they don't particularly try to double book the tables of an evening. Incidentally I was surprised to hear the manager wasn't the owner due to level of service he provided us. The only thing I will say is that it is much like sitting in someone's dinning room while they prepare a gorgeous meal for you. It is very cosy and not as polished and slick as some either higher end or chain restaurants are. This may not be for all tastes. However, if you're fine with that I think you will be rewarded with some superb service along with some gorgeous food.
