“Cracking Pub”
Reviewed 10 May 2014

Visited this pub during the 'Sweeps' Festival as they had some great live music on.
Stayed for a couple of hours and then went back later.
Lovely and sunny in the nice garden, good range and well kept ales. The staff were pleasant and managed to keep the queues at the bar to a minimum.
Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area.

“Real ales”
Reviewed 16 June 2013 via mobile

Nice pub in the centre of the high street. Nothing too fancy, they keep it bare as they have a lot of live music in there. A nice few real ales on offer, and a good lager in Estrella. The garden offer a view of the old city wall. Can get very busy in there if the music is on. Not eaten in here so can't comment on the food but its worth a pint in there.

“Well worth a visit”
Reviewed 28 May 2013

Went on a Wednesday night and the place was full of famous people and old rockers. Everyone takes turns at banging the drums or strumming guitars and singing. It's a great night but the beer is expensive.
