Linda and John, thank you for everything. I really enjoyed my stay here in your really lovely and comfortable b&b. A sweet too with enough space and in the middle of Rochester. Very easy way to the train station and to the main street. See you, I'm sure i will come again next year.take care, Julia from Germany.

We stayed here for one night in August. Few issues with the room when we got there through no fault of the owner which made our arrival a bit of a whirlwind. Helpful and friendly hosts and this place really is somewhere you will feel part of the household, which we found relaxing. Linda cooked us an evening meal, 3 courses for £15 and was very good value. Fish pie was very tasty! The room was clean although there were a few minor details that need looking at (no handle on the bathroom door, screws sticking out, and no blind on the bathroom skylight so as the bathroom door has a glass pane - light comes in to the room as soon as the sun is up.) we asked for an early breakfast as needed to get away on time but unfortunately we waited nearly 45 mins for our cooked breakfast. Excellent hash browns though! This place is well situated within easy waking distance of the old town, just room details and timing at breakfast let it down for us. However the friendly nature of the hosts and good evening meal means I would recommend it if people looking to stay in the centre of town.

Stayed here on the 22nd and 23rd July for my Son's graduation. We booked both rooms out for the two days. Both Linda and Jon were very friendly. Breakfast was when we wanted it and it had everything you could think of, with excellent quality. Amazing views of the Medway river from our room. The location was spot on, we just walked the five minutes to the Cathedral/town. Never had to use our car. Our son's is taking his Masters, so I'm sure we'll be back next year to celebrate again.
Thankyou Linda & Jon.

We stayed at the Medway Little Townhouse for two nights in order to go to the Radio Caroline 50th birthday party which was being held in the town. My husband wanted to park up on Friday night and not need to move the car again until Sunday, and that's exactly what we did.

A takes just a few minutes to walk from the townhouse to the centre of town, and even though I have a problem with walking a long way or uphill, it was an easy stroll.

We could not have been made to feel more welcome, and were offered help and a chat whenever we wanted it.

As other reviewers have said, breakfast was when and what we wanted, and because there was one big breakfast table we got talking to our fellow guests both mornings.

The owners have pets, which might have been a problem as my husband is allergic to animal fur, but everything was so clean (and the dog was not the type to shed fur everywhere) we had no issues at all. In fact, it was lovely to feel that we were in a home and not just a business.

Thanks again to Linda and John for a very enjoyable stay.

Room Tip: The River View room is has great views both by day and night.

We stayed at the Medway Little Townhouse in September, 2013.
Linda and John were wonderful hosts, exceptionally warm and welcoming, which made our stay very pleasurable. They went out of their way to make sure our introduction to Rochester was a warm one.
We were guest for about 2 weeks while waiting to move into our rental accommodation.
Our lovely room included a little refrigerator, kettle and complimentary coffee/tea etc. television and a VERY comfortable bed. We had our own separate bathroom, next to our room. Linda organised breakfast to suit our schedule and even provided us with a packed lunch.
During our stay I had a cold/sore throat and Linda and John made soothing lemon and honey tea and also arranged a doctor for me to visit.
This B & B is perfectly located to the High Street - a 5 minute walk past the cathedral and castle on pretty cobbled streets.
I would thoroughly recommend staying here if you are visiting Rochester.
Thank you, Linda and John.

We were looking for a base from which to explore the area without relying on a car , and this was perfect. Lovely room overlooking the river, very welcoming owners and a truely wonderful breakfast. All of the town is within a ten minute walk , although be aware there are some hills.
Very comfortable and highly recommended.

Room Tip: Think it is worth paying extra for the River View room with on suite

I had a really lovely time at Meadway Little Townhouse.

It is a lovely B & B close to Rochester town centre, with a great view of the river. It's within easy access to the cathedral and castle as well as the high street.

We have spent 2 nights at the B&B and we felt very welcomed and very well taken care of.

The room was very clean, we had everything we needed, we have a big private bathroom which was great as well. Linda's partner made sure we had everything when we arrived, made sure we had biscuits and milk for tea and coffee as well.

The breakfast was brilliant, great cooked breakfast of choice, we also had youghurts and cereals. It was very tasty and to top it all we had breakfast on the balcony with the view of the river both mornings. Linda has adjusted herself to our needs as far as the time of the breakfast goes which was great help.

I am very thankful to Linda and her partner who have made our one year anniversary special. Linda cooked a wonderful roast dinner for us, lit candles on the balcony and made sure we had a special time. She has already made a lovely triffle for us as desert. We even took some of it home with us.

Linda was wonderful in accommodating my partner's dietary needs as he is lactose intolerant. Special thanks to her for buying all the necessary lactose free products and being so careful about cooking.

Not only the people but also the little creatures living in the house made us welcome. So do be ready to be welcommed by two lovely kitties and a lovely dog. They have been so much fun :)

I have paid a deposit via the phone to Linda's partner before we have arrived and I have paid upon departure for the remaining ammount. Payment went through okay and easily.

It was a pleasure to stay at Meadway Little Townhouse and we hope to return.

I reccommend this B&B very much.
