“Yes yes yes!!!!!! never forget to get the end of Rochester'shigh street”
Reviewed 2 July 2014

At last some beautiful cakes in Rochester. I discovered Bruno's bake 2 weeks ago by chance as I never go to the end of the high street. Big Mistake!!!! if there was a rainbow in Rochester and you were looking for the place it starts to find the treasure: well it starts at Bruno's shop and that's where the fantastic cakes are!
Don't be deceived by the seemingly small front of the shop: there is a lovely courtyard, and 2 sitting rooms.plenty of places to sit, and I cant help but imagine how cosy this will be in the winter after a long walk having a hot choc and one of Bruno's splendid cakes. If you go to Rochester, please make sure you do visit Bruno's shop. you wont be disappointed.

“Fabulous food, wonderful service”
Reviewed 23 June 2014

Have been a big fan of these guys from years back, ever since they had a little stall in Hampstead market.

Bruno's cakes and savouries are divine! Mouth-wateringly delicious. Unsurprisingly he's won loads of awards for his fare.

Rick's coffee is great too.

Everything is made and served by both Rick and Bruno with so much TLC.

Miss them being in London- but it's Rochester's gain!

“Creative cakes and treats in lovely Rochester café”
Reviewed 19 June 2014

This is another find in Rochester and easy to miss because it's right at the end of the High Street, near the River Medway. Don't be fooled by the exterior, there really is a cafe to sit in behind the shop… ( and not next door, which is another cafe altogether!)

French baker here makes wonderful cakes and treats. Our group went for dark chocolate-peanut butter pretzel cake (looked like a brownie), peanut & milk chocolate cake, mango & coconut cake, and dark chocolate & caramel Not a crumb left afterwards. Choice changes regularly. I hear there's a cheesecake day soon, too. Lovely coffee, also - proper coffee, not the dishwater stuff that you get in enormous paper cups and immediately regret once the bitterness hits you. Yes, I'm fussy so trust me, this is a great option.

“Simply the best cakes in Rochester”
Reviewed 5 June 2014

We have been going to Bruno's ever since it opened and in their new premises there is much more room to enjoy the coffee and cakes. There is always an amazing selection of cakes it is a struggle to narrow it down to just one. The portions are generous and fairly priced. The coffee is good too and I I like the way you get served your drink in a different mug each time. I have been having to avoid dairy recently and although on one visit none of the cakes were ok for me Bruno did me a huge bowl of tasty strawberries. The staff are always friendly, helpful and welcoming. It's a really special place, so don't miss out.

“Soooooo good!”
Reviewed 5 June 2014 via mobile

Visited here after a friends recommendation, I have never been here or noticed it as I rarely travel down the far end of rochester high street but this place is a little delight! Best cakes on the high street, I thought Tony Lorenzo's was good but it hasn't got a patch on this place! A little more expensive but worth it for a delicious sweet treat
