Our stay was for one night only whilst attending a function nearby. The Guest House was easy to find, has (limited) parking to the rear and the owners were thoroughly welcoming and pleasant throughout our stay. They even dropped us off in town rather than our getting a taxi which was much appreciated. We were in a self-contained room accessed down some stairs (presumably the former cellar) which has a huge bathroom and lots of character. Breakfast was great and we would have no qualms about staying here again or recommending the Guest House to others.

Now THIS is what a B&B should be like. This one is quite large--perhaps more like a house hotel, but the rooms are lovely, the owners (the Davies) are charming and friendly and will bend over backwards to make sure that you are comfortable. And breakfast was cooked wonderfully by Mr. Davies. Mrs. Davies gave us a fantastic restaurant recommendation--BEST Indian restaurant EVER--Rajrani's just up the road from the guest house.
If you ever are near Birmingham, STAY at this place! It's only a short fifteen-minute drive to Birmingham's city centre.

My husband, Teenage son and I were visiting the NEC recently. Wishing to make an early start we decided to stay over nearby. Having trawled the usual purpose built mass market accommodations with little enthusiasm we came across this little guess house in Coleshill not much more than a couple of miles from the NEC .

The accommodation was excellent and the proprietors friendly. They recommended places to eat for the evening in the village (only 10 minutes walk into the centre).

The rooms were tastefully furnished in keeping with the character of the house and breakfast next day was freshly cooked to order. I certainly don’t have any complaints and will be happily recommending it to friends and family when they are visiting the area.

I stayed with my daughter for 1 night for a gig at the NEC. I would definitely use them again. The owners were friendly without being intrusive and nothing was too much trouble. The taxi service ( £7 each way) to the NEC was really handy, it was like being picked up by your mum! Our room was clean, comfortable and spacious and breakfast well cooked and hearty. A cut above your normal b and b.

A quaint charming old Guest House with many original period features. I stay here on a regular basis when I’m on business in Birmingham. It’s located directly on the Coleshill main high street, so provides me with easy access to the east side of Birmingham for work. The proprietors are very friendly and helpful and provide first class service. Rooms are always clean and the beds very comfortable. Breakfast is hearty and plentiful and I love the fresh coffee, wakes me up ready for a long day in the office!
