Just got back from our second stay at Grimscote Manor, while visiting Spring Fair at the NEC. As anyone who has been to it knows, the Fair is quite a tiring experience, but Grimscote Manor is within a very short distance of the NEC (10-15 mins), and it's a very easy journey. It was so nice to be able to return to the hotel quite quickly at the end of the day, and relax in our room. The hotel is comfortable, clean and really well presented, with lovely little extra touches to the decor everywhere. Had the same room as last year, which was great - beautifully decorated and with all mod cons. We appreciated the fridge in our room, and the fact that the towels are a decent size (the hand towels are big enough to wrap around your head properly!). The food was delicious, and plentiful, as usual, and the staff are all excellent - really friendly and helpful - nothing is too much trouble for anyone. We are already booked in for next February, and look forward to returning. Thanks to everyone for a very enjoyable stay.

I paid for my Mum & Dad to have a night and meal here for my Dad's birthday. They haven't stopped talking about it since. Thought the staff were absolutely fantastic, very warm and welcoming. The food was great and the fat that they were asked if they had enough vegetables to go with their meal and would they like seconds was just out of this world. To quote my Mum 'where was the last place you got asked that?'
The room was lovely and clean.
Thank you for making a birthday present an experience to remember for all the right reasons.

This hotel is a breath of fresh air in a world where customer service is a thing of the past. I was working locally to the hotel this last weekend and used it as a base while working very late each night. The family running the hotel looked after my needs for food and drink at odd hours and could not do enough to make my stay comfortable. My room was excellent for the price I paid. Would definately recommend this place for people working in the area. A real home from home. Will definately stay again!

Thank you Nigel for taking the time to write this review we know how busy you are and it is very much appreciated that you have taken the time to write it. It is guests like yourself that make us feel that what we do is worth while as every other good hotelier and bed and Breakfast owner knows only to well there is a lot of long hours and dedication put into running a hotel successfully, and isn't necessarily about profit because the most rewarding aspect of running a hotel sometimes are the comments and reviews of our guests, so we would like to take this opportunity to thank not only yourself but all previous reviewers as well because we are very proud to have received a travelers choice award for 2013. I bet Alex Polizzi hasn't got one. Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts.

Nothing too much trouble from communications about the weather prior to our arrival, through to taking us to our onward destination the next day in the snow when taxis weren't available. Excellent value. Great food. Massive comfortable bed. Really clean. Thank you all so much.

This is the second time we have visited Grimscoite Manor and it didn`t disappoint, The first visit was with a group pre-Christmas when we were impressed by the food and service. Quite often groups tend to be treated less well than individuals but this was not the case at the Grimscote.

Our second visit, this snowy weekend, was an after Christmas family treat - four of us. Again, a varied menu, good service, friendly staff with prices similar to 4 star hotels in the area..

Because of the weather the hotel had received several cancellations, including a party of diners, and overnighters, so we had the dining room to ourselves. It was a shame there were so many cancellations and yet the hotel didn`t cancel our booking and were prepared to cook just for us

Room Tip: not applicable as we only went for a meal

I recently spent my 60th birthday at the Grimscote with all my family. The food, accomodation and attention to detail were second to none. The room we had was very luxurious, bed comfortable and bathroom amazing! The bar room was brilliant allowing everyone to get together before the meal to order the wonderful food and the lounge after was lovely with tea, coffee and mints being brought in for us, which made a very relaxing evening
Thank you so much for making my special day so memorable.

Met up with family to have a Sunday Lunch meal out, just before xmas. My word, what a treat! The new restaurant at Grimscote is so beautiful it took my breath away. Not only were the surroundings luxurious but the service was warm and friendly. Best of all though, was the quality of the food. This was without doubt the best Sunday Lunch out I have had in many years.. I have booked up two more visits already!
