Once again the service at this hotel had amazed me again. Food and service is always good here but this time a free room upgrade. The room was vintage with a modern twist. The bathroom was very nice, felt like a Mayfair hotel. Thank you once again and keep the service up

Booked as a birthday surprise by my husband we stayed in a suite. The room was gorgeous and the bathroom spectacular! The little touches of boxes of champagne truffles on the bed were a treat. The welcome was friendly in fact all the staff were incredibly friendly and cheerful. we had a walk around the delightful gardens and could see what a perfect venue it is for a wedding or family celebration with the large marquee in the garden. Breakfast was just right not too much but the usual on offer, full English, continental, fruits & yoghurts. Also noticed they catered for coeliacs with gluten free cereals and breads available.

Would highly recommend a stay in this hotel!

We had a wonderful family meal for six of us at this gorgeous Hotel and we would highly recommend it.

Before our visit I called the Hotel and asked for a sample menu- the lady I spoke to was so friendly and helpful- I mentioned my Dad liked very plain food and she said they would be happy to accomodate as food is cooked fresh to order.

When we arrived we were taken to a very stylish lounge for pre dinner drinks. We then went through for dinner in a gorgeous restaurant- indeed, the whole Hotel is really well decorated- unique and stylish. The food was excellent- lots of choice and delicious. The staff were all lovely- nothing was too much trouble. Service was efficient but never rushed. After dinner we had a drink in the cutest bar.

We found it excellent value for money.

A real find- a lovely place with great food and atmosphere.

Another great stay back in February ( sorry for the late review ) thanks to Gill, Georgi and their team who always make us feel like part of the family! Have been staying here for several years when visiting the NEC and wouldn't consider staying anywhere else. We stay in the beautifully refurbished deluxe rooms which have luxurious en-suites and are spotlessly clean. We always eat in the restaurant which serves excellent home cooked food with fresh vegetables of the season - the lamb shanks are highly recommended!! Ideal location for the NEC which is only a 10 minute drive away plus you enter from a side road avoiding long queues on busy days . Looking forward to seeing you all again in September

The rooms, staff and food in thisl hotel are outstanding.
We were on business but would recommend the hotel for everything.
In our opinion there is no other hotel in in this area that can compete with the service, food or rooms.

The fact that this is a privately owned hotel shows in the service from the family members who run it as they are extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel also offers free wi-fi and the location is really convenient for the NEC. There is plenty of car parking and the public rooms and areas are striking in their decoration and extremely comfortable. We booked a deluxe room and have to say we were disappointed as it was extremely small. This was room no. 12 at the back of the hotel overlooking the grounds and outdoor swimming pool (obviously under cover at this time of year). We always book deluxe or executive rooms as we like a large bed and good ensuite facilities. Unfortunately the bed was a standard double, and the wash hand basin was in the bedroom with a tiny bathroom containing shower and toilet. The logistics of this meant we really did not sleep too well as the bed was too small and the room felt claustrophobic to us. When we asked about the sizes of rooms it seems that they are mainly quite small, apart from a double and then the Brockington Suite. We ate in both nights we were there and really enjoyed the food, the breakfasts too were very good and made to order. We would love to stay there again, but to get the size of room we prefer would mean booking the Brockington Suite which is more than we would want to pay unfortunately.

I stayed overnight at the Grimscote on business and we had two full days using the conference facilities. I cannot speak highly enough of the customer care, service and attention to detail. Georgina is definitely an asset to the hotel and could not do enough to make our stay memorable. I particularly loved the unique, unusual and individual crockery used that was quirky and a conversation starter! The food was very high quality and the vegetarian choices were extensive. The cleanliness was incredible and it is clearly a well loved family business.
We had a really fun time and will be back in April for more entertainment!
