This B&B is very good value. Standards of service and cleanliness are very high. Well cooked and plentiful breakfast. No problems at all.

We were tavelling around the west coast on our motorbike and had stayed in Whitehaven the night before, then journeyed up to Gretna Green and along the A75 (on a wet rainy Tuesday morning).

We were so pleased to arrive at this scenic Guest House north of Stranraer.

The food and service were impeccable, and we wish we could have stayed longer.

Thanks very much Guys.

Can't usefully add to previous comments (save the single malicious one) except to wholeheartedly endorse them all.

Only stayed here on the basis of Tripadvisor recommendations, but very glad that we did and we'd return absolutely without hesitation.

We spent a couple of nights here whilst at Turnberry for the golf. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left we felt very much at home. We were given personal, attentative service by our hosts who couldn't do any more for us. This Guest House offers, great quality accommodation a warm friendly atmosphere & wonderful food. Hosts are thoughtful, obliging and nothing was too much trouble for them. In brief, this Guest House is nothing short of a small Luxury Hotel.

We stopped at the Rhins of Galloway on the off chance that they would have a room available. Yes they did, what a gem. Paul and John are very accommodating, welcoming and doing an excellent job. I cant speak highly enough of these two. The rooms were large, bathrooms more than adequate, comfortable beds and the rooms were exceptionally clean. Breakfast was another joy to be had. They think of the small things that make your life and stay a bit more comfortable, like a pair of scissors on the tea and coffee tray to help open the packets. Good on you guys! They also contacted us to let us know that we had left behind a phone charger and sent it on for us. Would recommend this B&B to all.

Spent a night here on my way to the open at Turnberry. I can honestly say that this is by far the best value for money I have experienced on my travels. The service we received from the the staff was just excellent. They knew we had an early start and put a tray of breakfast outside our room for us in the morning, this even had some snacks for us which I took for later in the day. The room was very comfortable and very clean, also very spacious. My only regret is I didn't book for two nights!

Thank you very much for making our stay a very comfortable one.
