Great location loch-side (and close to Glenfinnan Monument and Harry Potter Train Viaduct, see pictures), pretty views, spacious, up-to-date, well maintained rooms and friendly and accommodating hosts, who went beyond the call of duty for us. We called ahead for dinner suggestions in the area, but when we found them booked up Barry and Ellie insisted on treating us to dinner gratis (we, in turn insisted on paying, so don't get any ideas). The four of us used both bedrooms and found the rooms and the bathrooms modern, well-decorated and immaculately kept. Breakfast was ample and tasty. As I say in the title: everything one could wish for.

We stayed at this lovely B&B for just one night, but we felt at home since we moved our first step in the house. It is not coincidence, some people really get what is the essence of running a B&B, and Barry and Ellie definitely do. Their welcome was lovely, not even to mention how gorgeous, large and clean the room was. From our room we had beautiful views of the "loch", and also of Ben Nevis - although it was mostly cloudy and we did not get to see much of it! In the morning, barry prepared us a delicious breakfast with fresh eggs, whilst we tasted all of homemade marmalades and jams.

Just one of the best B&B we have ever been to, which we already marked in our book of "places we want to return to". It's been good to feel at home here, and to be part of your family - even if only for one night. See you soon!

Our overall-rating of the property and its host is "excellent". A small and friendly B&B offering excellent standard, accomodation and hospitality. Scenic view. We've felt like at home and enjoyed very much our stay at Ardarroch Cottage B&B. Of course, we'll recommend Ardarroch Cottage B&B to our friends and will choose Ardarroch Cottage the next time we're in Kinlocheil / Fort William.
    Summary: highly recommended

Stayed here on the basis of excellent reviews and were not disappointed. On asking if continental breakfast would be available to enable us to make an early start .(climbing Ben Nevis before the crowds) Barry insisted on getting up to cook breakfast before we left. After a comfortable night breakfast was ready at 6,30 am. Nothing was any trouble and really made us feel wanted.Would definitely recommend to anyone.

This cottage was stunning in everyway possible !!! - from the moment you arrived you already felt at home with the place, the rooms are five star comfort with amazing views of the mountains, loch, and steam railway - breathtaking.Nothing was too much trouble - you only have to ask and the host would bend over backwards to help - really impressive, very helpful.Breakfast was hugh and very tasty so much to choose from !!- setting you up for a day walking on the mountains.I would highly recommend this B&B to anyone, and hope to return there next year - it really made my holiday so enjoyable and relaxing. Thank you Barry and Ellie for making my break so memorable in everyway possible.

Room Tip: Hard to stay really as both the rooms there were great - one was a double bed the other was a king size - both have breathtaking views and good light.
