This is my second stay with Barry & Ellie and I didn't think it could get any better - but once again they made it the best holiday break I've had, they both exceeded my expectations completely. So very kind and genuine hosts it was a complete pleasure to be in their company. The rooms were spotless and well equipped - with GREAT views out of every window - perfection !!
I cannot recommend this B&B enough, don't settle for second best make sure you go and stay with Barry & Ellie for a wonderful relaxing break - this is the very best !!!

Room Tip: Both rooms have great views and are well equipped.

Our welcome at Ardarroch Cottage was warm and friendly. We were amazed at the spotlessness of Ellie and Barry's beautiful home. Our double aspect room with loch views was perfect: clean, spacious, thoughtfully furnished with comfortable and seating, plush robes and slippers, and an extremely comfortable bed. Lovely en suite with a view of the hills, and a perfectly placed mirror. Little touches like scrabble and a pack of cards in the wardrobe, and chocolates by the bed enhanced the luxury of our stay. Ellie and Barry were kind, fun and thoughtful throughout our stay ensuring that our every need was catered for. They had also had the foresight to send us restaurant details in advance of our stay and their recommendations for places to visit made all the difference. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful.

Room Tip: Both upstairs rooms are huge and wonderful.

Quite the best B&B in Scotland, perfectly appointed, perfect hosts - just go and experience perfection. It's difficult to describe how well the rooms are fitted out. There was nothing that was missing, even down to the provision of slippers! The fittings and decoration of the highest standard and Ellie and Barry are the icing on the cake.

This was without a doubt the best B&B I have ever stayed in. From start to finish it was brilliant. The rooms are wonderful with views to die for everything is thought about from the little touches like a vase of lovely fresh flowers to sewing kits and everything in between. The room oozes opulence. It is immaculate and very clean. The shower is a power shower and in the room we stayed in the sky light gives you a lovely view of the sky and mountains when showering. The breakfasts are great always served with a smile and beautifully presented. The cooked breakfast menu was extensive and always cooked to perfection. Apart from this there are many other items to choose from fresh fruit cakes cheese cold meats etc etc. Barry and Ellie the hosts are just the icing on the cake they cannot do enough for you and are always welcoming and cheery. We stayed for 5 days and could have easily stayed for longer. We will definitely be back. If you are looking for somewhere to stay in this area look no further this is it.

Just returned from a two night stay here, it was the best experience of a bed and breakfast we have had. The hosts Barry and Ellie were so attentive and made our stay the best experience possible.
The rooms beautifully furnished and spotless, the views over the loch stunning.
Thanks Barry and Ellie for everything hope to see you again soon.

Room Tip: All the rooms have great views of the loch

My partner and I travelled around Scotland, staying in a different BnB each night. Ardarroch Cottage was only the second evening on our trip but of all the places we stayed from Inverness, to Skye, to Edinburgh, (and many in between) Barry and Ellie's standards could not be beaten. We stayed in an exquisite king room, that featured a clean and spacious ensuite with unbelievably comfortable robes and locally sourced toiletries. The room had a very luxurious/romantic feel, the linen and furnishings were high quality. I must mention an excellent selection of hard cover books (all the classics) tucked away in the built-in wardrobe with a variety of board games. Breakfast was decadent, Barry and Ellie exceeded our expectations, having everything from aged cheddar to Nutella on the buffet, the hot breakfast was delicious. Barry and Ellie's travel trips for our planned route were spot on. We arrived exhausted travellers and left well-rested and feeling like family.

Room Tip: Book it now!

Definitely one of the best B&Bs my wife and I have stayed in (and we've tried a few). The rooms are large, well equipped, spotlessly clean with views to die for. It's in an ideal spot for travel to some truly beautiful parts of Scotland including Glenfinnan and the mighty Ben Nevis.
Sadly we didn't get to meet the lady of the house,Ellie, but Barry, the host, was a pleasure and made a fabulous breakfast, even though we presented him with the challenge of one vegetarian and one vegan. He was more than willing to help and advise on our onward travel and a really interesting guy.
I would highly recommend this B&B to anyone and will definitely return.
