Description: At the Old Station Restaurant & Bar we offer great locally sourced food at reasonable prices. Dine in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, in the unique setting of a converted Victorian railway station on the world famous West Highland Line. We are located at Spean Bridge station where the Commandos began their training during the Second World War. Relax beside the fire in our public bar and enjoy local real ales. We are the only bar in the village serving real ale on draught. We also have a good selection of malt whisky, Scottish gins and wine. We have a gluten-free menu which is available on request. Children are very welcome ... And we even have a special menu for the wee ones! Our Bar is open from 5pm until late in high season. Our Restaurant is open from 5.30pm until 9pm

This is a lovely restuarant located at the train station, which is quite novel. When we visited the staff were great and the food very good. We had two lively children but the staff were great with them. I would highly recommend this place.

The station is just as it was many years ago full 0of original signage. The staff were very friendly and it is popular so I would recommend that you book your seat. We went for dinner and the staff were looked after our every needs with good food well cooked and served in a friendly manner. We as usual were the last to leave the restaurant and engaged in long and friendly conversation. The slow belly of pork I had was excellent.
What I thought was a disused railway station suddenly had a train stop at station and I later discovered that this was for people connecting onto sleeper from Glasgow to London. Seems like another trip and visit to this lovely restaurant again.

So disappointed that we didn't eat here, but didn't realise that in August most of the eateries I this location need reservations. Anyway - we returned later in the evening to try the selection of location ales, draft and in bottles. And taste a variety of the whisky on offer.
Superb atmosphere in the small bar area. Great staff. Not too bad a headache the next merging, luckily! Next time I'll definitely eat here, as the others at our B&B were most enthusiastic about their experiences at breakfast the next morning.

Dined here at the beginning of the month. Lovely ambience and definitely a trip down memory lane with railway age memorabilia dotted about.
Small cheerful bar area and spacious dining tables. No music on the menu when we dined, but guessing it's a special evening when the musicians are in the house.
Menu lovely and appealed to our range of tastes. Interesting take on some local favourites- haggis in filo parcels with chilli dip gorgeous! Steak and chips simple and tasty. Pork in sauce very tasty. Plain veg prepared well. Lovely puddings. Portion size perfect for 5 adults and good price.
Fairly simple but attractive and tasty choices of well prepared food. No complaints at all - except that we ran out of time to visit again!
