“Perfect setting; excellent food and wine”
Reviewed 16 September 2013

There is nothing I dislike about Miradoro. The service was outstanding as were the food, wine and view. Burratta, heirloom tomato salad was delicious, the pasta and lamb sirloin equally delicious and the chocolate budin (pudding) was the perfect ending. Complimentary foccacia bread and olive oil dipping sauce are also worth mentioning--both excellent quality. The large deck overlooking the entire valley is the perfect dining setting. This was our third visit to Miradoro. Each visit has been equally memorable.

“Amazing food, service, and view...what else could you want!”
Reviewed 15 September 2013 via mobile

Ate dinner and it was so great we had to come back for lunch the next day. Food was wonderful. The service was impeccable both times. And the view amazing. Try to go an hour before sunset to catch the light on the opposing mountains. We had the halibut and lamb for dinner and cheese pizza and meatball sandwich for lunch. All meals were amazing. They source locally for their food. We will come back whenever we're in the area.

Thank you for the great review. As well, being located in the Okanagan we are fortunate to be surrounded by the bounty of local produce that allows us to create food true to its flavours.
We'll look forward to having you join us again.

“An Oasis”
Reviewed 14 September 2013

Our wine tour included an early afternoon stop at Tinhorn Creek, now one of our favourite wineries in the South Okanagan. How better to compliment our tasting than with a stop for lunch at the adjacent Miradoro restaurant.

A gorgeous sunny day and we were seated on the patio at the very corner with only glass separating us from the valley spread out on two side below us. (I must plead guilty to snapping a photo or two and immediately texting them to less fortunate friends back east.)

Our waiter Franco suggested the 2 course lunch and we agreed it would fit the bill perfectly. The soup was excellent, the pizza superb and the seafood pasta astounding (was that saffron I tasted?). The view was world class. As were were in the middle of our self-guided wine tasting tour, we opted to say no to the wine, and stayed instead with the water (fizzy or still).

We were never rushed and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We will definitely be back, hopefully to sample the dinner menu. The only reason I didn't "5 star" this review was because we were only there for a light lunch and didn't get a chance to delve as deeply into the menu as I would have liked.

I thoroughly enjoyed both the restaurant and the wine tasting at the adjacent Tinhorn Creek and can definitely say we are looking forward to our next visit.

“Views worth seeing”
Reviewed 12 September 2013

I have eaten here 4 times and each dish is creative and different, a very talented chef. Found Manny the owner excellent in finding you the best table. Enjoyed a flight of wine last visit and with the winery next door it makes for a good afternoon visit . Italian and French. Worth the short drive up the ridge.Tinhorn Creek has good wines and a nice rose.

“It's all about the view.”
Reviewed 11 September 2013

Our party of four are all faithful Tinhorn Creek fans, so a lunchtime visit to the adjacent Miradoro made sense.
A spectacular view every which way, a lovely venue. Service was friendly and efficient.
We were dismayed at the limited lighter lunch menu options.
And truly the grilled cheese and meatball sandwiches we selected can be had at almost
any lunch counter.
Conclusion: Here, it's all about the view.

The restaurant name, 'Miradoro,' meaning golden view really couldn't be any more suiting. The view really is, golden.
We're happy you enjoyed the panoramic views Miradoro has to offer and we appreciate all comments regarding your visit.
We look forward to having you join us again for an all around great dining experience.
