We've eaten at Miradoro multiple times now: once for brunch, several times for lunch, once for a pig roast, once for a crab feast, a few times for dinner, and we were there for New Year's Eve as well.
The food has always been really nice - lots of variety, with a real focus on local products. The wood-fired pizzas make a great lunch. I've had several pasta dishes, and oysters, too as well as meat dishes - oh, and don't forget the paella! It's one of Chef Jeff's specialties.
We've always had servers who knew their wines and could make recommendations, although we're pretty familiar with many of the BC wines.
Our tables have been both indoors and out - either way, you still get the view.
The wine list has some really interesting older Tinhorn Creek wines as well as the current releases, and offers a nice selection of other wineries' wines, and beer as well.
Enjoy!

Your review describes everything great that Miradoro offers. Our mediterranean inspired menu, Neapolitan style pizza, our amazing view of the valley, and a great wine list with both Tinhorn Creek and neighbouring wines.
We look forward to having you come and enjoy another great dining experience.

The selling point for this place is the devastatingly beautiful view of the vineyards and Okanagan Valley. We enjoyed sitting on the patio, watching the sunset over the vines and a playful family of quail darting around the grounds enjoying their own dinner. The food was also impressive: everything we tried was terrific, including a refreshing gazpacho starter and an inventive salmon main.

The only thing preventing a perfect experience for us was the service. Not that the service was poor, it just felt unprepared and inappropriately over attentive. It seemed like every time either one of us took a sip of water, a server appeared to instantly top up our glass. The problem was we had ordered sparkling water, but the server just topped up with whatever water they had at hand, which was often still water. I could go either way on water, but you know, you kinda want one or the other, not a mix of both. Our server also made odd recommendations throughout the night and did not describe any of the foods in a way that made sense. In retrospect, once the food arrived, the description made sense, but it was almost like what was told to us was a broken telephone version of a description. It turned into a bit of a game as we tried to match the description to what was actually in our bowl or on our plate. A restaurant with this much beauty, this quality level of food and this kind of wine cellar really deserves top notch service.

We still thoroughly enjoyed our meals, though, and we would likely return.

Nice atmosphere, friendly, helpful service. Delicious pizza! Quality ingredients.
We shared the "special of the day" pizza, (10 inches, 6 pieces), which intailed a perfect chewy crust, cream sauce, pancetta, peaches and caramelized onions. So delicious!
We also order the sangria, -white wine, orange juice with lots of fresh fruit and some nutmeg/cinnamon.
We enjoyed our stop. My boyfriend said it was his favourite part of the day.

Our dinner started off on the wrong foot. There are two great view tables in the restaurant. #110 is the corner table and the one you should go for. The second best is table #109. We had a 7pm reservation for table #109. Unfortunately we arrived five minutes late at 7:05. They ended up giving our table to two walk-on's which annoyed us. They then sat us in a non view table. We complained and they ended up getting us a better view table. Thank you. The view of the valley is fantastic. The service and food were not outstanding but still very good. My wife and I shared an appetizer, pizza, pasta and dessert. More than enough food. Fresh ingredients and well prepared. Wine list reflects the area and location. Overall an easy 4 out of 5 rating. The 3 rating is based on the starting point described. The truth, it's a good place to have a nice dinner. We will be going back.

Love this restaurant and winery. This is my third or fourth visit to Tinhorn Creek but first time for lunch. The server was very knowledgable about both the food and the wine. The meatball sandwich was delicious. The portion was generous. The beet/potato soup was like silk. The 2013 pinot blanc has a delicate, complex flavour. Fabulous views. I would never miss an opportunity to visit this restaurant/winery.
