Super clean, shady sites with huge weeping willows! Set on a small, but lovely lake, the sites have ample room, all the amenities including cable. Who needs cable in a spot this beautiful! After experiencing a lot of very cramped, ugly sites, this little park is a gem! The people who run it are lovely and keep things very well maintained. Bathrooms are small but the cleanest I have seen in a campground ever! Great location to explore the wineries and local sites.

“Friendly and fun”
Reviewed 6 July 2014

Super friendly and clean RV park. We stayed in a tent and got a site on the lawn which would have been better with a bit more shade (probably the only site in the entire park that didn't have a willow tree!), but the grass was very comfortable, and there's wifi for any electronics you may have. Due to the hanging trees, fires are only allowed on the beach in the designated pits. There are very entertaining turtles hanging out around the docks, as well as big fish everywhere. Lots and lots and LOTS of birds, which is either a blessing or a curse... they start tweeting very early in the morning and tents are not very soundproof (and they also left some "gifts" on our vehicle...), but if you like birdwatching there's a huge variety to spot and identify. Lots of waterfowl, as well. The owners like to chat and are always busy maintaining something around the site. The shower and bathrooms were very clean, and there's a full array of recycling bins available. It's right next door to the excellent Nk'Mip Desert Canyon Golf course if you want quick access to golf, too. The beach is quiet with nice views, but still close enough to run into town for a nice dinner, or off to Osoyoos for some sunny beach time.

This park has everything we need, wifi, power, cable, sewer and water. The main attraction for us is the size of the sites, room for slides and not sitting next to your neighbours dining room window, shady.
Could use a little more TLC but nothing that keeps us from returning every year for the past 7 or so.

“Not that great anymore.”
Reviewed 28 June 2014

Been going here for about 7 years but since the new owners have taken over things are not the same anymore. The campsites are not raked and cleaned after people leave. Tables are not placed at the correct spot. They mow the grass around your motorhome with a very loud mower. The lady owner is nice, but loves to get into politics and is not hesitant to give you her opinion. Her husband does not even say good morning or anything else. The large garbage bin stinks, I could smell it at the campsite. The lake is good for swimming. There is an area where you can leave your dog locked up behind a fence, but there is no shade. The beach area is swampy. They have clean washrooms and showers. Sewer dumps are to close to the next camper, which is gross. It's a great location if you like to make trips in the area. Lots of trees for shade.

“Birds, birds, birds”
Reviewed 30 May 2014 via mobile

We stayed 3 nights with our 4 year old grandson. Lovely shallow swimming area with sand bottom. Well-maintained washrooms & floating dock. Near a wetland alive with birds! Small but pleasant RV park.
