“Wonderful setting. Great food.”
Reviewed 2 April 2014

If you're visiting Grenada and fancy a trip out - it's 40mins towards Grenville from St. George's. You'll likely need to book in advance if you're not staying - or even if you are, reservations were taken the night before.

We stayed at Cabier, so were lucky enough to enjoy the wonderful Bruno's food every evening. It was Hobson's choice, but the food is freshly sourced and expertly put together, as you would probably expect from a classicly-trained French chef. It is still hard to believe that I've had some of the best soup I've ever tasted in the middle of nowhere on the east coast of Grenada! Not to mention excellent fish dishes, salads - everything was delightful.

The setting on the terrace overlooking two bays is lovely, and you're guaranteed shade from under the bitter orange and mango trees.

“Gastronomic Delight!”
Reviewed 18 March 2014

An absolutely wonderful restaurant in a stunning location serving some of the best food we've ever tasted. We were lucky enough to have stayed for 5 nights in the Two Bays Villa close by with a group of friends and had only intended to eat for 1 to 2 nights during our stay. However the 1st evenings meal was so truly delightful that we all decided there was no need to go elsewhere. In fact we took breakfast & dinner for the whole of our stay, so highly recommend it. Bruno & Iris are an amazing couple & certainly know how to spoil their guests. Bruno is one of the best chefs on the Island & produces wonderful dishes from whatever is available. Some of my absolute favourites were on offer such as Creme Brûlée, succulent fish & meat dishes and amazing lobster! We were also lucky enough to have experienced Bruno's day trip around the island which was very interesting and at times very amusing. Definitely worth doing!
Thanks again Bruno & Iris, we will definitely be returning.

“Unquestionably the best food (Chef) in Grenada.”
Reviewed 15 March 2014

Yes, Bruno's is a 45 minute drive from town. Be assured of two things: it is absolutely worth every minute, and the venue is one of the most beautiful on the island.

Reservations are a must. Unless you elect to spend a day or two at the Cabier Ocean Lodge which is associated with this most marvellous restaurant.

While I have dined at lunch and dinner, my favourite is spending an afternoon over lunch. Beginning with a drink at noon, expect to spend between 21/2 and 3 hours of gastronomic delight over what is effectively a 'tasting' menu anchored by your choice of locally sourced fish or seafood, chicken or a meat (usually beef or lamb). You'll make your selection when you reserve.

You'll not go home hungry. You'll begin with a pre appetizer at the bar. Then a plate of 'flavour explosions' arrives once seated. Foi Gras, lobster quiche, a tasting of soup... You'll marvel at the unadulterated flavour that will explode in your mouth with each mouthwatering bite. Then your main and desert. All made fresh. All from local ingredients, many grown or raised by Bruno himself.

Anyway, you get the drift. I'm a real fan. And, Bruno and Iris, the proprietors are friendly, outgoing people who you will enjoy meeting. All in all you'll wonder how this gem found its way to Grenada, it is so entirely different than any place on the island. (The answer in part is Bruno was tired of paying the crushing taxes imposed on small businesses in France).

Try this place out as soon as you can. You'll not be disappointed.
