We stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed our time. The restaurant had a nice location and atmosphere, the food was reliable, the layout of the resort was nice (quiet and private). The rooms were ok but the bathrooms was poorly designed (the shower sprayed all over the floor and the water for showering was salt water and not always running). The rocks on the beach made it difficult for swimming at low tide, but the sand was lovely. The organized spice tour was worthwhile. Overall, it was a nice location with everything we needed.

For budget travellers a very good option to stay in a private banda/house 10m in front of the sea (at high tide ;-)). The place has a swimming pool, wifi and can arange good budget activities as snorkling and sailing. By foot it is easy to walk to jambiani or paje.
Houses are budget but nice with sleeping nets and own little veranda. Water from the tap is salt but drinking water is provided by the staff.
About the food, have eaten better but for the price its OK. If you want better but more expensive food you can go to the neighbours of Spicy Island, there its very luxurious but also more expensive.
We had a great time!

Jambiani is a very peaceful place & not busy when we were here. We had a fab 2 story hut right on the beach providing us with uninterrupted views of the fab Indian ocean. The design of the huts are perfect with a lovely breeze to keep you comfortable.
Food was lovely, ate here most days, we tried a few other local resorts too. This is a small hotel which makes it all the more intimate.
Would definitely recommend this place if you just want to chill out, read go for a snorkel & walk along the beach :) Perfect place to chill after being on safari

Room Tip: Definitely go for a 2 story hut on the beach, plenty of room & sleeping up stairs with that view...

we had a wonderful stay at pakachi beach resort. The bungalows are direct on the sand, nearby a nice beach. The owner jürgen and salomon did everything to make our stay unforgettable.
The hotel has a restaurant with sometime fresh fish, when you request.

Room Tip: there are rooms direct front of the sea, the others in the wonderful garden. Some family room, but a...

my husband and I stayed there for 3 days and we loved it!. It is not a pretentious hotel. Excellent food (Try their king fish crusted with coconut!). Staff is very helpful and always ready to assist. Rooms are clean and perhaps a bit outdated however for us were perfect as we spent 80% of our time outside.

Room Tip: Ours was in front of the beach/sea and we loved it.

It's a very good value for your money hotel.
The people are very friendly and helpfull.
Nice breakfast even if you leave very early in the morning they will offer you breakfast.
Don't expect a 4star hotel for that price. But the rooms are clean and fine (especially the ones near the beach are lovely). Just the bathrooms need a bit of refurbushing (salt has corroded the taps).
The surrounding is really nice and very relaxing.
