We booked the hotel for 4 nights
Took the cottage for the first night which was very good looking at first sight
but turns out we didn't get along with forgs and cockroaches that paied us a visit at night time.. So after a sleepless night we switched to the normal room which was pretty basic and nice.
The food was good and the staff was nice
The pool is small and OK
10 min walk to the main street and 15 to the beach .
The hotel has a complementary WiFi ant lobby only!

Overall its pretty basic and a cheap hotel
And if you don't like bugs and frogs don't take the cottage :)

we visited Goa this year and since we were looking for a decent budget hotel with a close proximity of the beach we choose the Camelot. once u enter the hotel you don't feel disappointed but however the behavior of the staff forces you to regret your decision of choosing this hotel. they are rude do not respond to questions of Indian tourists. the prices are not at par with the rooms or the breakfast served. there are better hotels in an around with the same budget. the rooms are clean yes but the service is bad. the air conditioner of our room was not working well when we called the room service to look into the matter they said that that is the max cooling that will do, but it was just the blower not the cooling that was happening. most important very rude staff you don't feel welcome at all.

The resort is decent, but the attitude of the staff is very bad......Specially, the receptionist...she treats guests like they are some sort of slaves....i made a trip of 5 days, but couldn't stay there for more than 2 days....the room were decent but not great....if you are planning to visit, then my advice is to stay at some other place....

Room Tip: Rooms on the south side are quieter

The Hotel is good but not excellent. The hotel has an American ambience but again does not suit the Indian flavours. The service of the hotel is decent enough. The lady at the reception Miss Panchali was the only nice person that could be found at the hotel. It seemed they have only one room boy. Food served is nice but too expensive and makes people dependent on the nearby restaurants. The deluxe rooms where I stayed are nice but too expensive. There is a rent-a-bike service in front of the hotel. The location of the hotel is between Calangute and Baga beach. Overall the hotel is nice but the value for money factor is missing...

Room Tip: Select the rooms facing the swimming pool...

Visit to Goa for me is like an annual or bi-annual pilgrimage.. and given the amount of travel I do.. I prefer to do budget trips instead of the lavish ones..
I have been staying at Camelot Resort for last 3 times now and the quality of service has been consistently phenomenal, room quality and cleanliness is the best you can get for that kind of a price... location near Baga cannot get better than this.. titos, mambos, baga beach shacks are all at the walking distance.
One thing that I also noticed was most of the guests staying were peaceful, fun loving, from mixed cultures and not the usual rowdy crowd so this is a very good place if you are visiting with family, as a couple or planning to get hooked up ;)
Best part about my stay has been time spent with the owner Shashi.. who has such a wealth of information to share about Goa, about travel, food and what not.. so ensure that you do spend some time with him while you are there..
Out and out a total value for money and strongly recommended by me.

Room Tip: Go for cottages if you really are looking for a 'different' kind of an experience and make y...

Terrible is an understatement..Staff are ridiculously impolite and you get a feeling that in spite of paying money for the stay, they are actually doing a favour..The rooms are at best average, proximity to the beach is the only thing that should get you anywhere near to this hotel; though there are a lot more cheaper and better places around..Been coming to Goa for a while, but have never encountered such terrible behaviour from staff at a hotel!!
