“Pathetic Service Attitude”
Reviewed 30 September 2013

Visited the Olive Garden with family. We were asked to sit on the outdoors of Pavilion as Olive has open air seating and it looked like about to rain. Pretty considerate of the staff and good things end here........

Pizzas were ok in taste and we made the mistake of ordering North Indian stuff from the Pavilion. Steward got the order wrong inspite of repeating the same twice & then had the audacity to keep arguing that he was right. His behaviour spoilt a perfectly nice evening and am sure a place with such staff..... god save them......

“Great Food, Lovely Ambience, this hotel is worth a stay too!”
Reviewed 31 March 2013

Great Italian food (thin-crust pizza, garlic bread).
This restaurant is a part of the Brightland Holiday Village, hence you can actually be seated in any of the 3-4 dining areas and order multi-cuisine.
Olive garden is for Italian Fare, while you can also order Indian, Mughlai and international food in any of the dining areas.
Great food, great service. Slightly over-priced. However one could sense that this place is frequented by upper middle class families for their stay.

“Little Italy of Mahabeleshwar”
Reviewed 30 December 2012

I landed at Brightland to enquire about their acclaimed Prana SPA but being a foodie ended up in Olive Garden.which undoubtedly serves the best Italian & continental cuisine in Mahabaleshwar. Olive Garden as the name suggest is built in a casual outdoor setting. The pizzas are cooked from a wood-fired oven. The pastas are authentic. OG has many other Items but with my Italian food knowledge being limited to pi's & pa's I didn't experiment. The restaurant also features an open kitchen where guests can see their meal being prepared. All this comes at a price, expensive yet worth it.
