We were very lucky to spend 4 days at Sipadan with Sipadan Scuba. I will not repeat what is said below but trust-this place maybe the only one in the world left almost untouched. So many turtles, grey reef sharks, jackfish, napoleon fish and and and. You will not be able to photo all!
I liked going to Lobster Laire-moderate current, sharks family living there-we have 8 swimming together, turtles. Barracuda point- lots of jack fish, barracuda but quite strong current. Drop off-nice caves. Hanging gardens-beatiful scenery. Turtle patch -on 5-7 m gardens of colourful corals. Amazing. South point-less marine life.
Anyway-u can bring your camera and make a video to catch all moments or just take with u memories.
Tip-try to avoid diving with Chinese. Almost all are disorganized, cant swim, they have 30 bars on 20th min of dive, they are running after poor fishes making them scary and leave no chance to u to make normal shot.
Tip-pls dont touch animals underwater. If we dont care of them-this place soon will die.
Tip-pls take with you some food to feed cats on the islands. They are so thin. We brought whiskas to them and they ate with such greef as though they didnt eat for days

I'm sure everyone knows Sipadan is famous as one of diving paradises. The island is small with beaches ((a lil rocky)) and limit amount of visitors so you need to be well planned in advanced.

We booked dives with Billabong dive center, overall went well with this center but recommend bringing your own gears, seems the dive center here not well maintains of the equipment (comparing to dive center in my country) possibly it's so busy that equipment got used all the time no time to be cleaned and checked properly.

My first dive of the trip the strap of the mask went broke, it was torn off while I was trying to adjust while going down about 6 meters so the rest of the time I had to use one hand holding/pushing it to my face, and my second last dive of the trip the mask leaked around my nose, again I had to press it all the time hahahha. Apart from this two incidents of my mask, everything went so well.

I love diving here as dive sites are so rich of nature livings. We come here for big things but lots of small interesting things to see too. Plenty of sharks, turtles and moray eels for you to see just like strayed dogs in poor country. Unluckily we only saw few Barracuda and rays ((hmm I wanna c more !!)).

Definitely must come back again!!!

Most divers will have at least heard of it and it is on many people's "must dive" bucket list. I have been very fortunate and was allowed to spend 4 days diving at various spots around the Island with Sipadan Mabul Resort (SMART). The park operate a quota system which limits the number of visitors to 120 per day. These licences are assigned to different local operators - I believe SMART have a daily allowance of 14 which is more than many other dive centres. You will have to register when you arrive and pay a fee (via your operator) of 40 ringgit. The place is reasonably remote and it will cost you a fair amount of money to get there and stay in the area. You will have to book in with one of the dive operators who normally also operates a resort of sorts. All this adds to the overall price of the activity.
So what is the fuss all about? Well, the diving is absolutely spectacular. On my first dive I descended about 2m and already had two whitetip sharks swimming by. In 11 dives I have seen hundreds of sharks, turtles, bump heads and all sorts of other marine life. This place is so alive - diving around is like swimming in a big aquarium, so much to see. And, most of it is happening at very shallow water at 3-10m. This is fantastic as the lighting is great (bring your camera - highly recommended giving some superb images), diving is very relaxed and your air lasts forever.
So, how do I sum it up? Probably the best marine wildlife diving you will ever do in a very beautiful setting. So worth spending the money.

Sipadan National Park limits the number of divers and therefore it is difficult and expensive to do the diving here but so worth it! So as everyone says...if you are in the area...just hand over the cash and do it. Lots of healthy reef and corals and big numbers of marine life..sharks, trevally, trigger fish...and on and on and on! JUST DO IT! :-)
