We do not consider ourselves guided tour type people. We like discovery and not spending time with lots of other Americans when we travel, so this could not have been more perfect. It was as if we had a native friend who lived locally and decided to take us to the best spots he knows for the day. Carlos showed us amazing local hospitality right in his back yard. We kayaked out to the reef, snorkeled, kayaked to a little island and then into the quiet mangrove inlet. He took care of everything, brought snacks. Two of our group got seasick (I was one) so if you are prone to that or even not, plan to take something (dramamine, bonine) before you go out. The reef we saw has a couple of cool fish, visibility was pretty good, but it was not like a crystal blue national-geographic-special type reef. His equipment was in great condition and both guys were very comfortable, accessible and professional. Highly recommend them.
