“A nice family business”
Reviewed 20 July 2014

We visited Restaurant Vrgorac 2 times during our stay for dinner. The food is okey - not incredibly good but delicious - and portions are HUGE. No kidding, we took away half of the food we ordered both times. I had pizza and Vienna schnitzel, both were okey, although the schnitzel was pork, which was a little disappointing. Seafood and mixed grill plates are excellent. Waiters speak both english and deutsch, although not very well but we had no difficulty understanding each other. It's a nice little place, give it a try if you're in Kuciste. :)

“vrgorac - perna restaurant”
Reviewed 5 June 2014

we stayed here in the wonderful appartments for over 9 days with my family 2 daughters grand son total 5 adults . What a great place to stay and eat . If you want good old Dalmatian food go here . The place is cheap and you would not get better in a 5 star restaurant ,the govejina soup they make is first class my girls have not had since there Baba use to make. The owners Matko Tiho & the wifes are the best also Ivana great waitress ,, can't say enough good things about them

Hvala to everybody

“Best meal of our holiday so far”
Reviewed 14 May 2013

This place was recommended by our landlord, and what a good choice.
We were sat on the terrace, with views across to Korcula town which were spectacular, but chose to move further in because a few people were smoking.
The waiter urged us to try the house speciality, Bosnian Barbequed lamb which he said was nearly finished so a quick decision was made and we all ordered it along with their excellent house wine.
The lamb was served on a huge platter along with sauteed and chipped potatoes and excellent bread. Because we wanted another litre of the wine we decided to forgo desert and try the Croatian cheeses Paški sir and Livanjski sir, they certainly lived up to expectations.
The staff were friendly, the food and wine great and it was our best meal of the holiday so far.

“Excellent family run restaurant”
Reviewed 2 November 2012 via mobile

We have been going here at least twice a year for over six years. The food is excellent and portions are large. The family run restaurant expands all the time but never loses standard. Drink their own wine, some of the grapes grow over the tables.
