This residence has difference types of apartments, they are average in square meters but they have everything what you need. Some of them has view on the mouth of the Somme what is quiet spectacular when tide changes. The apartments are clean. We were there in winter with low occupation and very quiet, wonder what it will give in summer when all is occupied.
We rented a 2 bedroom house which, with 2 bathrooms, was just perfect for our party (2 adults and 1 teenager). Overall, the house and the residence were both well kept. Although the weather was a bit mixed, we made good use of the outdoor pool and there were always sun loungers available. The staff at reception spoke excellent English and were very helpful, especially when we requested an early check out to coincide with our travel plans.
Le Crotoy has a number of decent restaurants and a good selection of basic shops (including a couple of small supermarkets) - all within a few minutes' walk of the residence. Whilst we were there there was also a weekend market selling lots of different types of local produce, beers, wines and crafts. This was in addition to the usual Friday weekly market.
Being northern France the weather wasn't marvellous (even for August) but we still had a good week and would be happy to stay at the residence again in the future.
well, we went here for four days the room was very clean and thehotel reception was beautifully beach themed and spotless only problem........
we parked in what they call a secure car park underground which has an electric gate on and coded but unfortunately this can also be accessed by stairs and anyone can walk off the street to the car park,unfortunately on our last day we went to our car to find that we had over 1000 pounds worth of equipment stolen from our car and whoever did this sprinkled a tub of hot chocolate powder absolutely everywhere in our brand new car. hotel reception was very unhelpful and didnt really care there was no cctv and reception staff went home at 8pm in the evenings so after that any old theif can come and get what they want and unfortunately we was the victims of a very poor so called secure carpark, we also had to pay 18 euros for the pleasure,so,fellow travellers EMPTY EVERYTHING OUT YOUR CAR IF YOUR GOING HERE!!!!!

But we are so sorry to hear about the break into your car in our underground carpark. We are equally sorry to hear about your comments of poor customer service following the theft. Our staff are trained to the highest level of customer service so we can only apologise that on this instance it fell below our usual high standards. Stayed for 4 nights in the end of May, start of june. Resort quiet, but the kids had the indoor pool which was small, but good. The start of june the outdoor pool opened but was really cold, would imagine that when its warm later in year the pool with its view would be fab.
Resort was small, but felt safe for our 13 year old and his friend to go out and explore.
All in all a very nice accomadation. We had a two bedroom apartment, beds really good, and nice clean sheets too, to go with the clean apartment!
I was here in 2008 and returned in 2010. The most beautiful part of the apartments is the view! The sunsets are amazing, could not stop taking pictures every night.
I stayed in a 2-room apartment. Clean, nicely decorated. Only thing is that the beds in the bedroom are really hard. So I slept on the sleeping sofa in the living room, perfect!
Staff is very friendly and their English is really good (which you don't find in the rest of the village ;-)) . You can order breakfast and dinner at the reception if you want.
Amiens is a nice city to shop, one hour drive from le Crotoy.
I can really recommend Pierre & Vacances le Crotoy and I will definitely go back myself
We stayed for two weeks, two adults and 3 children (15, 12 and 8). We all fell in love with view and daily changing life facing the bay. The apartments and service are of high standards. Mainly families staying from France, Belgium and Netherlands. Would recommend more attention to weekly cleaning on handover days and also making available for people staying more than a week. There was only one bedroom apartment left when we booked, though advretised for 4/5 it was a bit cramped for all of us.
The main attraction on the town for us was the bay and waterfront. St Vallery on the opposite side of the bay is generally more attractive and social.
Would recommend overall. Sea-view booking a must.
