Hard to put my finger on why I love this place. The room we stayed in was pretty small (but had an annexe with bunks for the kiddlings) and was fairly basic. Le Crotoy is a typical northern france town, think the french version of a faded British seaside town. Yet love it I do. We tend to stay here for a couple of nights before a slog south in the summer just to unwind, get into the holiday spirit. It is a great bit of shabby chic with a nice and fairly stylish bar. It has a fairly reasonable restaurant - a bit pricey for France - but it is on site, child friendly, and, hey! We're on holiday!
I wouldn't think it would stand up to scrutiny for a week's holiday but if you are after a short break or part of a longer stay then give it a try.
