Deciding to stay here was a great decison. We had the top room - up some steep stairs - but everything was spotless and the bed comfy. The hostess could not have been more helpful with maps and brochures at the ready and recommendations for trips and restaurants. Everything was fresh at breakfast - fruit, coffee, croissants. Finally, there is intriguing and exotic art in every room either created by the hostess herself or collected by her whilst living abroad.

Our second visit in 6 months and once again Roseanna treated us like royalty! Nothing was too much for her. Her bright, cheerful and lively personality radiates from this gem in the beautiful village of Le Crotoy. A real find in an exquisite part of France where the beauty of the environment is breathtaking.

Room Tip: My brother in Law is 6' 5" tall, so chose the room with a bed which had no end - which infa...

We really like this place and have now visited it twice. The hostess is most friendly and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble. Her english is far better than my french, but she helps fill in the gaps brilliantly. The breakfast is brilliant - can't eat it all as there is such a selection. Last time we stopped in the Blue room and in the Green room this time. Both rooms were spacious, spotlessly clean and well decorated in a classic way. She will also make sure you are well fed for the rest of the day by way of restaurant recommendations and if you require she'll make the reservations for you.

Room Tip: Choose any room and you'll not be dissappointed.

Myself and my girlfriend stayed here for a night during a motorcycle tour around NW France. The property is lovely, the owner was charming and spoke better english than we spoke french. We had a room at the top and it was spacious, clean and decorated in a typically classy french way. The breakfast was amazing, one of the best I've ever had; fruit, breads, pastries, yoghurt, coffee, fruit juice, the works! If we're passing we'll definitely stay here again.

Just returned from a long week-end here. The house is beautiful, well-kept, friendly and most welcoming - even though our french language is virtually nil. Local knowledge is extensive and freely given. On the first morning, she suggested booking a restaurant for the evening as the day was a holiday and they'd soon fill up, so we'd had a walk around the town when we'd arrived the previous night and found couple of suspects, which she simply said she'd book for us by telephone. The owners should be very proud of the overall experience. It is impossible to fault this place, I'd give it 110%

A charming guesthouse in this Northern seaside resort. The house is not directly on the bayfront, but in a little side street and you can walk to the bayfront in five minutes.
The welcome is very friendly and helpful. The owner will give you Lots of information and advice on what to see and do in the region and on where to eat.
There are three comfortable and personalised bedrooms.
The common rooms and the courtyard are particularly pretty.
Breakfast is a mixture of fresh fruit, bread, jam, cheese and joghurt. All fresh and tasty.
Come here for a very pleasant stay in a comfortable house where the owner will do everything to make you feel at home!

My wife and I spent four days at the La Maison Bleue en Baie in early May. The outside of the property is painted blue as was our bedroom, which was a large airy room with windows overlooking the street and the secluded yard at the rear, which is kitted out with sun loungers. Adjoining the bedroom was a large bathroom ( no bath but a good sized shower cubicle). the Blue room is on the first floor and is reached by a circular staircase. The property is about 80m. from the main street in the centre of town. In May it was lovely and quiet but I understand it does get busy in the peak summer months. Parking is outside the property on the street. The bed and facilities in the room were fine and the room is scrupulously cleaned every day and was spotless. There was a seating area and small table plus one armchair, a library but no TV.Breakfasts were superb. I am not one for going into paroxysms of ecstasy over bread but the bread was just so delicious. There were several types- different types of baguette, croissants, a local speciality gateau battu, and others that just melted in the mouth. The breads were accompanied by a range of cheeses, and preceded by some fresh fruit. Whilst we were there we had pomelo and fresh pineapple. There are of course fresh fruit juices, a huge bowl of fresh fruit,- not just apples and bananas, home made jams, little cakes, and tea or coffee. This is continental breakfast taken to a whole new level. Rosana the innkeeper is a Brazilian artist, and the house is an art gallery of her works and pieces she has collected over the years. In addition to her artistic abilities she is also a great hostess with a knowledge of what to do and where to eat. She made recommendations for restaurants whilst we were there, and did the booking so all we had to do was turn up. There are many good restaurants in Le Crotoy. This town is only small but has wonderful beaches, fabulous food , birdwatching , history, sea trips, steam train, and much much more as they say in all the adverts, and I would unequivocally recommend La Mason Bleue en Baie as THE place to stay in Le crotoy.
