Where to begin! We spent nine days at this delightful hotel. It sits at the top of Agia Galini within easy reach of all the facilities of the town. But the steps are steep so regular stops to look at the excellent gift shops, or to sit with a coffee, or an ice cream, or possibly even a delicious cocktail are advisable!

The small hotel is run by Jasmine and Dimitri, and has been in the family since 1986. The rooms are very comfortable with delightful small bathrooms, and the breakfast is quite amazing and offers different local delicacies each morning - I am a coffee and toast person but my companion enjoyed every bite!

The beach can be reached on foot in ten minutes, offers a general store, eating places and lots of sun beds.

The owners offer a home from home and that is what we found - thank you very much Jasmine and Dimitri and thanks too to your charming son.

We stayed in the hotel for two nights. We had a nice and cosy room with a balcony and seaview. Very close to the sea and to the center with a lot of good restaurants.
Family owned. The people are very friendly.
Great breakfast with local specialities.
A really good price for what you get.

This was the best relaxed vacation ever. We were 21 days at IDI HOTEL
This hotel is very nice with the kindest hosts. Home made breakfast every morning. You could smell fresh pasterie when going out of the room every morning. Very clean hotel and new bathrooms. The hosts always at your service. We are going back in september.

We stayed here at the start of a 2 week holiday for 2 nights, then for 3 nights at the end of our holiday. But when all was completed we really wished we had just stayed at the Idi for the full 2 weeks. Then hotel is small and the owners are so friendly, they really made us feel welcome could not have been better hosts. The breakfasts are so perfect not to heavy,no full Monty,s but enough to start your day and keep you going until lunch without feeling hungry.Jasmine and Dimitri's are charming people very calm and hospitable. The room we had was on the top floor with great views to the left and straight ahead overlooking the bay,we would recommend room 305 for us it was perfect, clean and very comfortable. We really enjoyed sitting in the garden area out of the full sun and just the right amount of shade to enjoy a coffee etc.Marks out of 10 has got to be 10++++.

Room Tip: Top floor with great views.

The hotel is only 5 minutes walk from the center of the village, but very calm. The rooms are middle size, very nice (every room has a different design) and very clean. Some rooms offer a breathtaking view on the Libyan Sea.The bathroom is excellent, over the average for Crete. The breakfast is simply exquisite, with every day something different, home-made by Asimina and served in the patio. Asimina, Dimitris and their family are very nice peoples that take time for you and make you feel welcome. We were there for the second time and we hope it will not be the last one !
