“Amazing”

My husband and I stayed here from 7/5-7/9. My only regret was not staying longer. This hotel is as beautiful as every picture. The view right outside of our room was beyond belief. Our first day in the hotel I just took a luxurious nap right on the balcony. The weather was perfect, the sky a beautiful blue w/out a cloud. The staff was lovely. They were helpful and attentive. The restaurant had an amazing view. The food was fine. Nothing special but on par with what we ate on the rest of the island. While I loved our hotel I was blown away by Oia. You can easily hop right on the bus across the street from the hotel and be in Oia in about 15 minutes. Wow!! The view is a postcard. While I absolutely adored the San Antonio suites I wouldn't have minded staying a night or two in Oia. That is the only other place I would consider. While San Anotonio is in Imerovigli it is actually on the outskirts which makes it perfect. Imerovigli isn't that great and Fira while fun for the day for some shopping and for a fun night out is not where I would want to stay.

Our room was so pristine. The bathrooms quite nice by any standards but the best bathroom we experienced while in Greece. I wish I could go back there soon. My experience here will never be forgotten. Also had a great massage by Glykeria!

Room Tip: We had room 20. Amazing. Private balcony towards the end away from the others

Im not usually one to write reviews but we had an amazing 6 night stay at San Antonio Suites… We booked a Superior suite but was upgraded to the Honeymoon suite, loved the privacy of the private veranda and outside jacuzzi, we hardly left the room. Perfect Honeymoon setting. The views are truly breathtaking. All the staff are extremely helpful. The hotel it is soo peaceful you only can hear the birds. If you are looking for proper rest and relaxation book here now.
We ate at the Cliff side restaurant a couple of nights again delicious if a little indulgent for 6 nights so we headed out to Imerovigli a couple of nights for a more traditional greek meal and recommend Anorgi the staff are great, delicious food reasonable prices but book as in July they were beginning to queue for tables from 8pm.

All in all this is Heaven and Santorini is a bucket list of a place to visit we simply loved it and would recommend getting a private room with veranda possibly a 4 night stay and head to Imerovigli for a night or 2 … sadly we had to mark it down for lack of gym but we knew this an a minor complaint means more working out now back home

Room Tip: Go for the private terrace with jacuzzi you won't regret it

We stayed at San Antonio suites from 25th June to 9th July. We had a fantastic time, staff particularly Nasos, Tania and Adriana were all so lovely and pleasant. Pool great, and Hotel generally was fantastic. Our Room was amazing, lovely decor and views of the Caldera from the room. Only things I would say are...the location. You really need a car to get around the island as we didnt realise how far away we were from the other villages. The hotel is on the main bus route but buses are quite unreliable and are often full. Onother thing was that my partner had an accident just before the 2nd week. He walked into a glass door leading from the reception into the pool. There was no warning on this door and it was closed due to it being windy that night. The management assured me that this would be reviewed but it really is a safety hazard for the guests and there should be a warning put up or the doors should be kept open at all times. I wouldnt want this happening to another guest in the future. Breakfasts are amazing, they cook your eggs exactly how you want them.I cant fault this hotel other that the points below. I would definitely recommend it if you are looking for a relaxing holiday. The gym could do with a gym, although the spa was fantastic. Highlights of the Hotel I would say are food, views and staff.

Room Tip: We had Room 21 - great views.

The reality surpasses the picture. Many of us who dreamed of sitting with white linen clothes and look out over an azure sea, perhaps with a cool white wine in a gleaming glass and an outdoor resutaurang right next to where your table is laid and the day caught fish is already inside the chef, while the friendly profficionella staff are ready to give an unforgettable evening; Adriana and Nassus, if you read this, you know that we mean you.
Rooms are cool where they are located inside the rock. The wind (Meltema) cools the terraces. Everything breathes height, class and elegance.
It is comforting to know that whenever a workaday gray, you can always take the first flight to Santorini and after a few relaxing days at San Antonio is one cradled like baby in her secure embrace.

We have just honeymooned at this hotel, and have returned with the biggest smiles on our faces. This hotel is perfect for honeymooning couples who are looking for relaxation, romance, great food and some lovely scenery in a quiet location.

The hotel itself is beautifully appointed without tiptoeing into the land of pretentiousness. The views of the caldera are jaw dropping, the pool is beautiful, the rooms are comfortable and airy, the staff are superb, and the food and drink are amongst the best we had on the island of Santorini.

If you're looking for a hotel with things to do on your doorstep, it's probably not the right place for you as the towns of Oia etc are a cab drive away. But if you want a bit of seclusion in great surroundings, you cannot do better than the San Antonio.

This hotel has probably one of the nicest views in all of Greece and Santorini. Excellent service, very good restaurant and very nice rooms and suites. For those who know the island, they can stay at the hotel during all their stay in Santorini by the pool (eventhough not enough sunbeds). Simply amazing...

We have stayed 4 nights in this hotel during the second week of June 2013. We booked our room in February with a 50% discount on a Suite sea view (300€ instead of the pricey 600€). When we were picked up at the airport, the hotel manager was there and told us there was a problem with several rooms in the hotel (including ours), as there was a leak with some pipes. We had to stay 1 night in another hotel called Rocabella (poor place compare to San Antonio Suites) that was not a SLH. 2 other couples were concerned too. After reading some reviews on Tripadvisor, I am not surprised at all : a lot of people have had the pipes issue story at the airport. This hotel is used to practice overbooking to improve its profitability. It is a shame for a 5 stars hotel with SLH Label (I'm going to warn SLH by the way). As a compensation, we were upgraded to the honeymoon suite (room 1) for the 3 nights left. The hotel has a stunning view on the caldera. The place is very peaceful, the infinity pool is gorgeous and the food is good but overpriced. Do not book an expensive room, all rooms have a stunning view and they are already expensive for Greece (Santorini hotels are not cheap). The hotel is located between Oia and Fira, in the middle of nowhere. You definitely need to rent a car or motorbike to visit the island and to go to Oia, Iemerovigli or Fira for the dinner. We have really appreciated this hotel but due to their stupid overbooking policy and their overpriced fares, we rate it 3 out of 5.
