Everything Louise has said in her review I want to "ditto" for my review because we both had a remarkable day on a remarkable vessel with a remarkable crew. I liked the crew & sailing adventure so well in 2012 when I visited Santorini, I didn't not hesitate to do the tour again this year with a new travel buddy so she could delight in the experience...which she did, over the top! I didn't think the sailing could beat 2012 but when Captain Mike let me take the wheel for a bit & video it, well, I have bragging rights now! Btw, 1st mate Cristos is spot on for taking those once in a lifetime photos should you need an xtra hand & Marguerite is spot on for dishing out a superb feast for lunch besides her saucy humor! This ship hoist the sails so there may be some spray in the front at times (just be aware - it adds to the fun). Life jackets make it a bit easier to manage your way over to the hot springs & as Louise mentioned, snorkel gear is available if you want to see some fish (save some bread from lunch to feed them!) Ladies, wear a pretty suit out but change to a dark one if you enter the hot springs to avoid stains from the sulphur in the water. Also rinse off well to avoid staining a light colored coverup. This is a grand day of sailing that will stay with you as a special memory. One other memory maker is to visit The Boat House restaurant in Kamari (maybe after the sailing) for dinner. Cristos's father, Fotis owns it & I just happen to find out about in on the ship (good insider stuff). Not only is there plate breaking and traditional Greek dancing but the new dessert called "Banofi" is to die for, OMG delicious - tell them Captain Christy sent you! Also, (another insider scoop), Mike's father owns Petra Honeymoon Villas & if you want to stay at THE honeymoon haven of Santorini...check Petra out (quite unbelievable...no kidding!) So, it is amazing how much you can learn about Santorini on a incredible cruise like Carpe Diem. Seize the day & book it now!

My sailing experience was on the Carpe Diem with Captain Michael, 1st Mate Cristos, and Marguerite who handled all the drinks and food for our excursion. It is impossible to meet three nicer persons or a crew more attentive to making your day unforgettable. Towels and snorkeling gear was provided for our swimming enjoyment, the food was unbelievably tasty (and there was a lot of it!), not to mention this was a stunningly beautiful boat. Great tunes played all day, the ride was smooth, and I captured amazing photographs. The crew were instrumental in connecting all those sailing together and by the end of our trip you would have thought we all had been friends for quite a while! A few items to be aware of...take along a dark swimsuit if you plan to swim in the hot springs, as the sulphur in the water will stain light-colored suits and clothing put on afterwards. Also, a hat is advisable along with sunscreen. This trip may be a little more expensive than some, but it is really worth it. You walk away knowing you had the BEST day! Kudos to our crew and to Santorini Sailing Center!!!

Book in the morning when it is less crowded. Everybody wants to do it at Sunset but morning is more private and quiet and personal. Make sure you wear a dark bathing suit as the sulphur in the hot springs will stain your light colored clothing. The cooked meal of fish, chicken and beef with fresh vegetables and fruit is one of the best meals we had on the island! This company owns its moorings so you can anchor where no one else can.

We went on the amazing sunset cruise as part of our 20th wedding anniversary celebration. It was perfect with a total of 6 people on board Angelica which included 2 crew members, Dimitri and Vangelis. There were soft drinks on board as well as beer and wine which was all included in the price. The food was plentiful and just delicious. Towels and snorkeling gear was also included in the price. Visited red and white beach and the hot springs before cruising towards the sunset which was just stunning. Would highly recommend booking your sunset cruise with Santorini Sailing Centre, you will not be disappointed. Thank you to Demitri and Vangelis for a wonderful cruise.

The best view of the sunset of all Santorini island. It was so calm and peacefull watching the sunset from the small church located in the centre of the village that we went there twice. Moreover the village is located in the centre of the caldera so the view was extraordinary!
