Me & my husband stay in Casa Blanca for 8 nights. After long research I have decided to book this hotel due to it location, very good reputation and beautiful in & out deco. Our journey was very good; I have pre-booked a private taxi service beforehand. Driver has been waiting for us in arrivals as agreed. Journey from the airport to the “Imerovigli” took only 15min. When we arrived we have been greeted by hotel manager Maria who welcomed us with big smile. Instantly we felt we have chosen the right hotel. Maria took us to our room which was very sweet (all the deco as per the name of the hotel) was white. Room was small but very quirky. Hotel cleanness is 110% housekeepers clean all the rooms’ everyday, they change towels and lining every 2 days. Nothing was too much for them – Maria has been assisting us on many occasions and her hospitality was greatly appreciated.

Imerovigli is 15min walk from Firostefani and 30min walk from Fira. Both places are worth visiting as they are packed with great restaurants and if you walk down to Fira you will find many shops, restaurants & bars.

If you want to see the island you would have to hire car, quart bike or motorbike. Personally the safest option would be for you to hire car as tourists who hire quart bikes drive very dangerous. Also the difference between car hire and quart bike hire is about 10euro per day. It can get very hot in the day so at least you can put A/C in the car.

Beach is about 30min by bus or by car. Med sea is very clean you can see bottom on the sea even if you are in deep in the sea. Santorini is not about beaches as the sand is black but if you want to soak in the sea then coast is worth visiting.

Another town which you must visit is Oia – very pictures place which great views and great restaurants. Buses run there frequently and the price for the ticket is 1.60 euro each way.

Maria has recommended few restaurants which are the best on the island. She wasn’t wrong we have eaten in all few times throughout our stay as the food has been exceptional.

1. Psaraki – you need to have a car to get there – hidden restaurant run by no 1 chef on the island. This restaurant is by the Vlichada Beach (north of the island). All food is home made and the food is outstanding. I have travel the world and eaten in hundreds of restaurants but this one really stood out for me.

2. Argo – located in Fira. Great home made food, very friendly stuff and great deco through out the restaurant. Book table on the top floor about 7.30pm and you will see the full sunset at 8pm. Just stunning

3. Niki – opposite to Argo – very friendly & professional stuff and the food is very fresh too.

4. La Maison – located in Imerovigli – again very friendly, professional stuff, great food and the views are beautiful. You must try “Apple Tart” as a baker myself this dessert is out of this world.

5. Mylos Café – is a bar when you can go for the drink in the eve, stunning sunset views too.

If you need to book a taxi – book it through “Santorini Transfer” www.santorinitransfer.com this company is very good – clean, A/C taxis with friendly stuff.

We had amazing holidays we didn’t want to go back and Casa Blanca became our 2nd home. Maria has been the most friendly & helpful receptionist/manager I have even came across (I’m ex hotel manger) and her hospitality was second to none.

Santorini it is a beautiful island and I would highly recommend to visit although it is not a cheap destination in comparison to inland Greece (such as Corfu, Rhodes). Being on the separate island you pay for the exclusivity and service.

White, peace, comfort, relax, very close to caldera, firendly atmosphere. All this managed by a great manager in a small lovely hotel, MARIA!
Thank You Maria for Your professionality and Your kindness!
We'll surely be back next year!!!!! I urderline that we have been obliged to find a room for 2 nights more in other hotesl because of the strong wind that did not permit us to go to mykonos as in our shedule. Maria helped us to find 2 hotels of high level so we know how pleasant it has been to stay in casa bianca. DAVIDE

I went with my housband for the first time in Santorini searching our hotel through internet. We found "Casa Bianca" and we choose it because photos convinced us that the place could be really nice...In fact we found a small, nice, quite and very clean white jewel in a wonderful position, just few steps from the paradisiac views of Caldera.
What made of it a perfect holiday was the presence of Maria, the receptionist, always smiley and friendly and in the meantime very professional.During our stay we had a big problem and she helped us solving it in a great way!!!! Thank you Maria, thank you Casa Bianca, we'll come back! Alessandra

We stayed for 3 nights and could have gladly stayed for more. It's somewhat secluded and quiet, but within walking distance of main road and lovely restaurants. Also, 1 minute away from gorgeous views of the Caldera. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was fresh, clean and pleasantly decorated. Pool is small but good enough for a refreshing soak after walking in the scorching summer heat. Breakfast was adequate. Lacks the exquisite views of more expensive places, but on the other hand does not have loud silly music blasting through the night, which seemed to be the case in most places. Good value for money.

We stayed at the Casa Bianca for 5 nights, and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The apartments themselves were stunning, exceptionally clean and well looked after. The breakfast was included which after 6 days did become very samey but we liked the ham and cheese toasties! Maria was extremely helpful, she recommended certain restaurants and places not to miss. Santorini was beautiful, the views from the whole Island were spectacular. The sunset views from Oia were amazing but the the views from Imerovigli were equally as good. I would thoroughly recommend anyone to stay here who are looking for affordable, clean and comfortable accomodation on a beautiful Island.
