“More then we ever expected”

Simply, the romantic Santorini holiday we were hoping for. The view, the cave room, the service, the food/restaurant with one of the best views on the island (excellent and better than the best Oia restaurants), we could not have been happier with our anniversary holiday. We were lucky to have room 105 with a private pool overlooking the caldera......just fantastic. Would recommend that room as the hotel pool space is a bit small

Room Tip: Ask for Room 105.....if you can afford it, go for it, as the hotel pool is a bit small

The location is very unique with a fantastic view. The hotel is not big but quite sweet. The Cycladic style room is designed with state-of-art, traditonal and mordern taste. I like the purity of the color of the room. Though we stayed at the basic room type, we felt comfortable and relaxed. We were offered a complimentary bottle of wine and a plate of fruits. The staffs were very courtesy and attentative while always left much privacy to the guests. They do take care of the guests' needs, they are professional.

The reception girl didn't mention the Turkish bath upon checkin, it would be a pity for us to miss it during our stay. We also told her the roof was leaking a bit but it seemed no maintainence staff came to check.

We planned a final romantic holiday together in the early stages of my pregnancy before the baby arrived. I had always wanted to visit Santorini and the hotel had rave reviews. I am very particular but Kapari did not disappoint. The hotel was wonderful, the staff exemplary and the sunset breathtaking! One extra bonus was how fantastic the hotel restaurant was, even better than the local restaurants that had been recommended. The evening meals were delicious and would satisfy any food buff.
If you choose to stay at Kapari with your partner, it will not disappoint.

This was envisaged as a romantic, child-free, week's break for my girlfriend and me.
After much deliberation, we chose the Kapari over the Grace. The room we were given was a little away from the main hotel building but it was, as described - cave-like, but beautifully furnished and maintained. We had a hot tub, which was left untouched for the week, but not for any negative reason.
Our view was simply stunning and because we had a little day bed outside our room, we could lie there and watch the sun go down, sipping champagne that we had brought with us. The hotel didn't seem to have any problem with supplying a wine bucket and ice.
The hotel saff are simply amazing! Each and every one was friendly, helpful and utterly charming. We couldn't fault any aspect of the service - thank you Kapari (Alexandra and John).
The pool area is small but very convivial and our multi-national group all ended up as close friends by being in close proximity. Special mention to the Aussies!
One issue that a few guests mentioned was the air conditioning in their rooms (particularly round the pool area) being ineffective - ours (a vanilla room) was fine though.
Please take the catamaran trip - it was absolutely brilliant - just make sure it's the trip catering for fourteen people on the new boat! Food and atmosphere superb.

After a busy final week leading up to our wedding we were looking forward to a relaxing break in a beautiful location and the Kapari didn't disappoint.
We were picked up from the airport in their air-conditioned mini-bus and on arrival at the hotel we were greeted by the manager who, in front of the most magnificent Caldera view, told us about the history of the island and the hotel before promptly upgrading our room to a vanilla spa room just up from the (small) pool. It was everything we wanted.
During our stay all the staff were incredibly friendly and professional, from recommending and confirming dinner bookings and trips to just generally making sure we had everything we needed on a daily basis. Breakfast was included in the price of the room and it was delicious with lots of choice. We ate in the in-house restaurant twice and both meals were exceptional.
If you fancy a peaceful, relaxing break with an amazing sunset right on your doorstep and don't mind the 30 minute walk to town (Fira) then this should definitely be top of your list.

We were lucky to have a chance to enjoy an excellent dinner at this boutique Hotel...
The home made bread from the chef is unique, the salads were locally grown, the main courses cooked with precision...Even the light on the table has been thought of...
The service was attentionate and precise, and the prices within reason for such a unique spot....
One should especially enjoy the fireworks in August on the Volcano...
Apart from dinner, all the info given by the staff were precise...

Thanks to all the staff and especially to Philippos!!!

The hotel is located about 20 mins from airport and a 30 minute walk from Thira.. Its in a quiet part of the island but with enough to do and the best views of the sunset. People travel to see the views that you can see from your room - thats how good it is.
The staff are all vey friendly and cannot do enough for you. The food is of a high standard and well presented and would recommend booking at least one evening meal in the restaurant.
The room we stayed in was perfect for us in terms of view and outside seating and was located near reception . There are rooms around the pool which personally wouldn't suit us but may others if the pool is something you like. The pool area is small but we never had a problem using it when we wanted to.
The only downside was the heat at night as the air conditioning doesn't stretch to the whole room but you get use to it after a couple of days.It is August after all.
I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a holiday to Santorini that doesn't have small children and will be returning soon.

Room Tip: Avoid pool area if possible if you want quieter location. Ask for a fan in August
