“Good hotel, stunning location”
Reviewed 31 July 2008

Spent 4 nights at SP and enjoyed our stay. Staff go out of their way to offer exceptional service. We were disappointed with our room, however. We were stuck in the room next to the restaurant and feel that this may have been far from the best location – suggest you avoid this room totally. This is a romantic place but you lose some of the romance when you have to climb across the bed to get into it, ie the bed is set against one of the walls. Felt a bit like getting into bed in a caravan! Also the size of the jacuzzi totally overpowered our bathroom and left very little room to move. Otherwise enjoyed our stay. Loved sitting on the balcony with a glass of wine taking in the stunning views and sunsets.

My partner and I stayed at the Santorini Princess from 7th June 08 for 3 nights and it was fantastic. First of all the staff are excellent. Nothing is too much trouble and someone is always available to assist you. We had some major issues with a friends passport whilst we were in Santorini and the owners went well above and beyond what they had to do to help us out - to the point of taking our friend personally to the police station and expediating the process given a difficult situation. The hotel itself is stunning. An amazing location with a great pool. We were there at the beginning of summer and the pool was still heated which was beatiful as it was just warming up but we were still able to make full use of relaxing by the pool. Our room was large with a lovely balcony and a great bathroom. There were basic kitchen facilities which were also handy. The breakfast was also really nice but this is the one area where things could probably be stepped up a notch. We made use of the hotel transfer service which was exactly comparable to taxis so I would recommend that. The driver is also available to take you to Fira or Oia which again I would recommend as the price is the same if not better. All in all I would go back to the Santorini Princess in a second - it was magical!

SP was one of the 3 choices for our holidays in Santorini. The reason why we picked this hotel is because it offered more things than the other choices, if not everything. This hotel should be your only choice if you plan to visit Santorini. You want private balcony and a beautiful room, that’s your place. You want large swimming pool to cool down when it is warm, that’s your place. You want to have a nice lunch or dinner, that’s your place. You want to relax even more with a massage, that’s your place. You want service, that’s your place. You want to get married in Santorini, that’s your place (we saw 2 weddings taking place there during our stay). You want happy and smiling faces, that’s your place. Whatever you want, you have it. The owners and all the staff that work in this place will do anything for you as long as you ask. Nothing is too much trouble for them and we can not wait to return. Thank you Santorini Princess for an amazing stay. We will see again.

We have just returned from Santorini Princess Hotel.
We spent 2 weeks at this wonderfully relaxing hotel and to be honest we would have happily stayed much longer.
The hotel has the most amazing views of the Caldera in our opinion unbeatable views. The hotel is spotlessly clean and the pool area is very relaxing and beautiful.
The food from the restaurant was out of this world, we never had a bad meal and when compared with other restaurants the prices at the hotel were very good for the food.
The staff are the most helpful we have ever encountered on holiday, nothing was too much trouble.
The bar staff and waiting staff in particular were incredible. We had such a good time with them all that we ended up swapping email addresses so as we can stay in touch.
I would totally reccomend this hotel to anyone wanting a holiday in Santorini, you could not do any better.
Santorini itself is a beautiful island but if you are looking for nice beaches then this isn't the place for you. The beaches are black or red sand/rubble. There is one called the White beach but again this is not golden sand. But if you want great food amazing weather and lots of beautiful views and of course sunsets then head to this very pretty Island.

My family members were staying here, so I came often to Santorini Princess to visit them and thought that the property was very beautiful. Distinct yellow building, this accomodation looked very nice.

Unfortunately, the day my family arrived at the hotel, (and I was there together with them) there was a huge roach in the bathroom which came to one of the bedroom. It climbed up on my mom and then flied inside the bedroom. I just totally freaked out. I am not saying that this is common in this property, but unfotunately it was there.

I advise reserving a room on upper floor because from our 2 bedroom apartment on the ground floor, the caldera view was partially blocked with the rental cars which were parked right in front of the hotel area. Not a big deal, but we found that a bit distracting because the view from the lounge upstairs was wonderful!

It is really difficult to describe how wonderful was our honeymoon at Santorini Princess, but I will try to put it in words.

Let me begin with the fact that my wife and I were both crying (literally), on the night we had to leave this gorgeous hotel and I haven’t cried since I was 12.

The owners: Alex (night shift) and Achilleas (day shift) are the most amazing hosts you will ever meet. They treat their guests as if Santorini Princess was their own house; they have so much attention to detail, and unbelievable generosity that ends up overwhelming people with happiness and appreciation.

The employees: Whether it is Dimitri (le sommelier), or Stavroula (from the spa) or waiters or receptionists, they all have a sense of hospitality and a genuine smile and eagerness to keep clients happy that are second to none…

The location: Being on the highest point in the Caldera in all of Santorini, this hotel offers the most breathtaking majestic view of the volcano, which cannot be found at any other spot on the island. My wife and I kept getting amazed; each and every time we opened the curtains of our cozy suite to get out on the terrace. The view is just indescribable…

In all fairness, and after meeting more than 20 couples during the honeymoon period and sharing with them experiences about their hotels and ours, we truly found that Santorini Princess can easily be rated as the number one destination in Santorini…
