it is a very nice place, the rooms are clean and it is very well located to enjoy sunset. it is 20 minutes or more walking distance from Fira (main town). The pool is small but refreshing after long days on the beach or driving around the island.

In my opionion the hotel is too expensive for the service that offers. it is true that the sunset from your balcony is amazing.

Angela was very nice.

My husband and I had been traveling through Paris and Central Italy prior to us arriving in Santorini. We arrived to the hotel just before the sunset - boy were we in for an amazing show! The view is utterly amazing from Artemis Villas - better than Oia or Fira by far! The hotel had put us in the White Room the first night as our original room was unavailable. What an amazing room! If it had been available the rest of the time we would have stayed. The fireplace is just the right touch and the bathroom was amazing after using a lot of extremely small showers in the rest of Europe. We were lucky to stay in that room, however our room for the rest of the stay was just as comfortable, although not as nice of course. The rooms were spotless, with new towels each morning. I would say, though, that the bathroom was cramped and it would be nice if they'd replace the shampoo and soap everyday. Other than that no real complaints. Even though many of the staff couldn't speak english, they were all very helpful. In terms of the rest of the island, Oia and Red Beach are beautiful. Fira gets really congested with all the cruiseships' tourist coming through. September was perfect weather, but it does get very very windy there. We rented a scooter the whole time and it was sufficient, but had to be careful on the windy days.
The restaurants in Fira were average, catering to the tourists. Please try Mama's right outside of Fira -no fantastic view, but excellent food.

This was an amazing trip - Santorini was absolutely perfect, save a few tourists.

For our third trip to Santorini we wanted something special for our 4 nights & after much trip advisor searching/cross-checking we booked Artemis' White Suite - yes its expensive, but this is Santorini's Caldera view...... We wanted something special with drop dead amazing views at the highest point of the Island and with decent walks to restaurant choice in Imeroviglia, Firastani & Fira. There's plenty of competition for accommodation.....which is why Angela & Chris (of great pedigree as related to Anastasis Apartment owners) work SO hard to get it right. All their rooms are immaculate and the white suite, with its adjacent Honeymoon Suite neighbour is something quite apart from their other rooms. So, if the price tag doesn’t put you off the White Suite - book it; you simply wont regret it....

  • Liked — The views - worldclass!
  • Disliked — Santorini really is expensive (aka London & New York...)

Wow my husband and I had an amazing stay at Artemis villas. We stayed in the white suite which had a lovely private terrace overlooking the cladera. The view was amazing and peaceful. The location was perfect and room was what we were looking for (a private and beautiful Santorini style room). Both Angela and Chris (the owners) were so warm, inviting and informative. They made a perfect stay even more perfect. My husband and I find that we have the best of vacations when the people in the places we are staying are friendly and warm. Well they met and exceeded are expectations. We would definetly recommend Artemis Villas to anyone travelling to Santorini.

We spent 4 nights in a 2 bedroom suite with another couple. The suite has huge master bedroom however, the second bedroom is hot big enough for another couple, could work for children. The hotel has a great view and friendly staff. This was the most expensive hotel we stayed at on our trip for 2 weeks around Greece and definitely not the best!! I had much higher expectations.

We stayed at Artemis Villas form 24th July until 7th of August. We loved it. The view was absolutely stunning. Had breakfast a coupl of times was really good. Our balcony was a great size and not overlooked. The pool are was great and we had it to ourselves on several days. Hotel really great spot, handy to get to Oia and Fira. Cleaning was very good. Very couply which we liked. All in all we had a great holiday and will definately be back...we may sample the sister hotel Anastias but we will definately return to Artemis in the future!

We spent 4 nights and 5 days at Artemis Villas and wished we could have stayed longer. We traveled with our 2 daughters, 20 and 14, and our 2 bedroom apt. was beautiful. We were looking to stay at a place that had an authentic feel and this is exaclty what we found at Artemis Villas. The view was incredible, the staff was extremely accomodating and personable, the facilities were very clean and well kept, the room was beautiful. I believe the view was the best on the island. This hotel is located in Imerovigli which is more quiet than Fira or Firastefani. But still quite close to anything you want to see. I recommend renting a car if you are staying awhile, taxis are scarce and renting the scooters would be life threatening on these crowded, narrow, steep roads. Angela and Chris, the managers, were very helpful with anything we needed and also cater to any needs you may have. Breakfast can be delivered to your patio if you wish as well as cocktails. Each unit has it's own private porch or deck overlooking the Caldera which is where we spent most of our time. The sunsets are beautiful and you will see everyone along the hillside sitting out for the show each day around 7:00 pm. I would go back to this place in a heartbeat and highly recommend it to everyone. Be prepared to hike many steps at any place you stay on this side of the island but it keeps you in shape ! If I could have afforded it at the time, I would have spent my honeymoon here. As it turned out, we spent our 25th wedding anniversary here instead!
