We stayed at Meli Meli with friends and family for 5 days in June 2013 and really enjoyed it. It's a small hotel with only 6 rooms I believe and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. Rooms are simple and not luxurious by any means but have everything you need and very clean. The pool area is also nice and have a large gazebo if you want to be in the shade. The staff is excellent and went above and beyond to make our experience pleasant. Overall, it was a very good experience and I would recommend it to anyone who isn't seeking a luxurious hotel and wants good value for money.

My wife and I stayed at Meli Meli for 3 nights and it was great. Our room was very nice and clean with a little kitchenette and balcony. Breakfast was an assortment of breads with yogurt, honey, coffee an orange juice that was brought to our room every morning where we enjoyed it on our balcony every morning. The staff were all really nice and helpful, they were able to help us rent a scooter and also get us tickets for an boat for a hike on the volcano. The location of the hotel is on the main road and is a 10 minute walk to main section of Imerovigli and a 5 minute walk to the bus stop. There is not a view of the caldera from the hotel but a quick walk will get you amazing views of the caldera. For the price this hotel was an amazing deal.

Room Tip: We had a room on the second floor (Room 5) that had a beautiful view of the sea from our balcony and...

We had a great time at the Meli Meli, the staff could not have been more helpful, bringing drinks around when frying yourself by the pool and even figs that they picked from the trees. The rooms are simple, but clean and have air con. The pool is great for cooling down between chapters. Breakfasts are breads and jam. Its location is within walking distance from the main town, but the paths back are not ideal in the night time as they are not well lit and have a number of potholes that can be difficult to miss. It is not directly looking at the sunset, but if you walk 100m around the corner, you do get beautiful sunset views.

We picked it as it was very well priced, friendly, personal and a 15 minute walk from the main town. On this basis, we were over the moon with our choice.

My husband and I stayed at Meli Meli for eight nights and it was just perfect! We were greeted with a lovely and friendly hostess, Tania, who showed us to our room and to our delight, Tania had arranged for a lovely bottle of white wine and chocolates for us at the request of our best man.

Our room was beautiful and clean. It was one of six rooms and it was very quiet and private. Meli Meli had a nice swimming pool where guests could lounge around or just take a quick dip to cool down after a long day exploring the gorgeous island of Santorini. Breakfast was brought to us each morning by the lovely Agnes and it comprise of freshly made coffee, rolls, croissant, pain au chocolat, Greek yogurt, honey, jam and marmalade. It was perfect and it was just nice to be able to sit right outside our room to have breakfast or to have it indoors in bed.

Tania is very knowledgeable and gave many useful and important tips regarding different areas of Santorini. Just down the road from Meli Meli, there is wonderful restaurant called Taverna Tasos and my husband and I ended up eating dinner there almost every night, the food was amazing and affordable and the owners were very friendly.

Meli Meli is strategically located as it is about a 10-15 minute walk away from the little lovely village of Imerovigli and the bus stop where you can get a bus to Oia is just 5 minutes away. We chose Meli Meli because we wanted somewhere quiet and private away from the hustle and bustle in Thira. We highly recommend that you stay at Meli Meli, you will love it there!

The hotel answerd what we were looking for and more- the location is great, in the middle of Santorini, 10 minuts drive from Fira and a 5 minuts walk from Imerovigli. near the hotel there is a local restaurant. The hotel is very clean, and rooms are available in 2 floors (Second floor is better). The room is cleand every day and there is a small kitchen with all you need to prepare a descent meal.if you're looking for caldera view from your room, this is not the hotel to go to, but one need to remember that view costs money...anyway Tanya which runs the hotel knows the island as the palm of her hand and can give great tips which upgraded our trip dramaticly! We recommand this hotel very much- you will love it!

I would have given the title "Perfect" but that's a bit boring. But it was, actually just "perfect." And there was a donkey in the field next to the Villa that kept us amused throughout our stay.
The room was beautiful, I think we got the best one (number 6) with 360 degree views to the sea and mountains. Two balconies, so you could always be in the sun, or the shade which ever you prefer. The place is spotless and tastefully decorated with the right amount of equipment for our stay. Tania, our host was so helpful and even gave us a lift to a neighbouring village for a spot of sight seeing.

This was a good choice as it wasn't directly on the Caldera so saved a lot of money but we were only a five minute walk away. (past the donkey)

Breakfast supplied every morning in your room by the ever cheerful Agnes. A simple affair, delicious fresh coffee, croissants, orange juice and greek yoghurt and honey.

And on our last night a beautiful surprise in store but you'll have to go there to find out!

Room Tip: Room number 6

It's a small white hotel with good views of the coastline and a lovely pool and sunbathing area. It's quiet with only adults so perfect if that's what you are looking for. We were and loved it. The whole complex is kept in very good condition and the two people looking after it, Tania and Agnes could not be more helpful. Tania handles the reception and knows everything about everything and Agnes handles the rooms and the breakfasts, very important! Breakfast is only continental and is served in your room or on your terrace. However, our room and I believe all the others have small cooking facilities and fridges. My other half made himself a cooked breakfast every morning so we were both happy. We would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending this hotel to anyone except one small reservation. It is about a twenty minute plus walk into the village if you walk up this track over the fields and along the cliffs. It's ok if you're fit and like walking but you can't do it at night as there is no lighting. We walked back along the road at night which was fine but you do have to take care as there is very little street lighting. At first I was a bit upset that we might need a car and I'd left my driving licence at home and so had my other half - a right pair - but the local buses were great and cheap. We went to anywhere we wanted to go on the island by bus and it was so much easier than driving. Down the road from the hotel is a great little Taverna called, I think from memory, Tasos. We had lunch there two or three days and it was really good food at very good prices. We went to Santorini for a wedding and two other people we knew were staying in the hotel so we spent the rest of the time with them around the pool just enjoying ourselves. We never made it to the beach and as I love the beach so much I think that says how great the pool area is and incidentally there is a jacuzzi at one end. Plus if you are quiet you can swim late at night which is great when it's very hot. We also found a great Taverna up in Imerovigli on the main road opposite the supermarket but I can't remember the name. Good value, good food and owned by nice people. When we ventured further afield we took the bus to Oia to see the sunset and found Oia to be fabulous. We also went to Fira and Firastefani which are lively and interesting but not as chic as Oia. In fact we had a great holiday. Book today and go immediately. Enjoy.

Room Tip: We had a room on the first floor overlooking the coast and the road. It was not very noisy with the...
