Was great to have lunch again at the Pink Elephant after not being there in a number of years. The refurbished bar and restaurant has lost none of the old charm, staff were very friendly and attentive throughout. We all enjoyed a very nice lunch with decent portions and a great view. Ideal for families as well with loads of space for kids to roam in the gardens, only gripe 7.50 for dessert is probably the dearest we have seen in Cork other than that well worth the diversion

We went here 3 days in a row and it was great each time. The staff is exceptionally kind, professional and service oriented. Each meal was prepared well, served promptly, and tasted great... not all 'typical' fare. They have a creative and varied menu.

And, well, the view is 'to die for'.

Exceptional for us in every aspect.

Fantastic restaurant near the B&B we were stopping in, it was a popular place so booking is required. The food was tasty, quality and not too fancy with a stunning view down to the sea. Really enjoyed the whole experience

Called by on our way from Cork City with a group of friends who were so looking forward to eating in his location, which I had spoken so highly of.... At 4pm, we pulled into the car park - as another couple were also getting out of their car. Surprise...the door was closed and lights were off!!
The couple who enquired at the door were told that they would open at 5?
Words fail me....what is that about? On the Wild Atlantic Way in high season - I rest my case! Might the owner take notice of missed opportunities please?

We have been tripping around Ireland for the last two weeks and this restaurant is our favourite - and it is not even close.

- The food was delicious with enough variety to keep everyone happy. Loved the seafood selection
- The atmosphere was very relaxed and inviting. The view over the bay while eating dinner is simply stunning. Nothing more enjoyable than good food with a good view.
- Most importantly the service is incredible. Our waitress for the evening was very helpful (even still answering my elderly father when he asked 20 random questions) and all around excellent service.

I would recommend this place to everyone who is passing within two hours as it is worth going out of your way to visit. Don't miss it!
