We stayed for two nights at this gorgeous B and B tucked away amidst the tangled streets of the historic district of Polignano a Mare. The panoramic view from the roof terrace at breakfast was a real highlight, as was the service (thanks Dominico!) and the decor of our tiny room. Would definitely return!

I think everybody else has said it! We have just spent 4 nights in this wonderful B & B which was a perfect end to a fabulous holiday in Puglia. Everything is very organised from the ride down to our reserved space in the car park in a rickshaw to collect our luggage, the delicious breakfast on a very pretty terrace with seas views, lots of information on trips out of Polignano and most importantly which restaurants to eat in! Incidentally, all great recommendations. The staff are very friendly and helpful but Domenico is a star! He can't do enough to help you. I have no hesitation in recommending B & B Santo Stefano.

We stayed in the Grottino for 4 nights. Our arrival was a little hairy as it is situated in the old town and you cannot drive there. They send someone to guide you to parking and you are then whisked to the B&B via rickshaw.

Domenico is warm and friendly and he had many many recommendations for things to do and places to eat. We went to Joe's for meet and Caruso for the best gelato in town.

The location of the B&B is in the heart of the old town and it really puts you in the middle of a fairy tale. Our little room opened out onto a little nook that is tucked away from the very busy and popular old town of Polignano. The room was a bit small but for the price it was perfect.

Breakfast at Santo Stefano is a dream. You have a huge selection of cakes baked by Domenico himself, bruschetta made with the freshest tomatoes and some cured meats and cheese. My favorite cake was the chocolate Nutella cake. If you love Nutella you will love this cake. But what makes this breakfast out of this world is the view of the sea.

It was an amazing experience. We hope to be back!

Room Tip: Grottino is small but opens out to the street and is very convenient.

We drove into Polignano a Mare, all the while on the phone with our host, Domenico. He ran to the center of town to find us, tell us where to park the car, and helped us with the bags. Through the square and around the bend, past the beautiful view of the Adriatic Sea, was our B & B. Domenico settled us in and then told us where to go for the best pizza in Puglia. He wasn't kidding. The next morning, and every morning of our stay, we breakfasted on the terrace, overlooking the sea. It was a magnificent view. Domenico never stopped running up and down the steps to bring us cakes that he baked himself. He gave us suggestions of places to visit and of course, restaurants with authentic food frequented by the natives of the town. We really enjoyed our stay, loved the places we visited, and definitely recommend this B&B.

B&B Santo Stefano was a great choice where to stay . Very centrally situatedin the beautiful , historic Ponigliano a mare, it granted a very comfortable and unforgettable stay.
Every single room in the B&B is different , the interior decoration is warm and cosy.
very comfortable bed and quiet location..
in the morning you wake up to a beautiful continental breakfast on the terrace overlooking the sea...fresh homemade cakes are offered (absoulutely delicious) plus a selection of cold meats and other items.
The staff of the hotel are very friendly and helpfull , speak a good English, and always make you feel valued.
if you have a car, you will not be allowed into the centre, but the Hotel can provide private parking and come and pick you up with nice Rickshow ..thewhole experience was absoulutely amazing !

Room Tip: All rooms are nice
