I've known this winery for over 8 years.
I found this place from a book called "Best Winery Tour in Tuscany" published by Japanese publisher.
Since then, I always wanted to visit them and my dream came true back in 2005.

Casaloste is very well known in Japan for superior Chianti wines.
They have cute little tasting house at the entrance. There, you can taste their award winning wine anytime for free. (Not many wineries in Tuscany are free)
It's small family run winery but received many awards (Tre Bicchieri ... presented by Gambero Rosso Magazine..like food and wine here in US)
They consider organic wines so, people with allergy can easily taste without worries.

Only problem is their are off main road and easily missed when you are driving.
If you reach Pazano in Chianti, you went too far.
Located in between Greve and Panzano...follow the sign !

It's wonderful place to visit !! I guarantee !!

OH... forgot to mention, they do have 2 apartment to rent by weekly in season.
