“Muyyyy buen sitio”
Reviewed 23 August 2014 via mobile

Very good site. Located on the street the mine (where the majority of bars-restaurants of this type are) it has a bit of everything, apart from fish and fried fish wich are really good. As I say they have appetizers and salads, meat, sandwiches and pizzas. We repeated the visit and for fried fish and it was really good. The portions are very good also. You also have the possibility to order half portions so you can try several things without eating a lot. From what we saw around of other customers, meat dishes and pizzas are great and we know that were completed. Further detail and very valuable is that they invite you to a plate of incoming tasty tomato with oil and little garlics while you wait for the dishes. The service is fast and good and helpful and speak English as added value (for tourism and military base) Thoroughly recommended and you will recognize because it is animated Andalusian fair plan. Oh, and although we did not see because we left early, as advertised, every day have flamenco show inside.

“Fresh! Friendly, competent service.”
Reviewed 20 June 2014

We could immediately taste that they use fresh produce. And yet still priced like the average fnb.

The first night we arrived, we wanted to treat ourselves and had a huge grilled fish. The fish was so fresh and tasty, it did not need anything more than some salt for seasoning, and was nicely grilled.

The following 3 days, we went back there. And were never disappointed.
- The seafood cocktail was well-balanced with a generous amount of finely, neatly chopped seafood, over lettuce, with salsa rosa.
- The hamburger at 3 euros was a huge huge patty. Simple, but very very juicy and tender. One of the best I ever had.
- Gambas alioli was another I had to rave about. Crunchy garlic, succulent shrimp, piping hot!

Beyond that, staff was attentive and welcoming.

Reviewed 4 June 2014

Service: friendly and accomodating to personal desires even if they are not in the menu.
The food is absolutely terrific. Price is appropriate. Obviously a local favorite. From tapas to full meals and entertainment this place can ot be beat in Rota. We loved it.

“A friendly hangout for locals on the Feria grounds”
Reviewed 8 April 2014

This is a typical bar for small towns in Spain. The locals gather here in the evenings, and after sports events. The food is average, but the cerveza is cold.
