Visited Revoli July, on arrival greeted by Thomson rep Bianca, who made sure of speedy check in, rooms spotless & nice size, we went self catering so can't comment on food but bar snacks looked nice, there is plenty of things going on here for most of the day with Leo the entertainer, also there the Kids club with Little Leaha & JemJem who were brilliant, Leaha did face painting & our kids loved the chocolate party all in all a good holiday, if you've a young family & need to keep kids happy, I would recommend ...

Just back from 10 day's at the Revoli and loved every minute of it. Staff are amazingly friendly, from maids, bar staff, restaurant, reception and especially Leo, the Gloucester entertainer. He made our stay there! Our room was very clean, maids everyday except 2, was also very modern and had everything needed, even free air con. The safe worked out 2 euros a day plus a 10 euro deposit, which you obviously get back. Food was great, cheap and plenty of happy hours, the last 1 being from 9pm - midnight. Food from the bar could be put in a takeaway box to eat on sun lounger by the pool if not wanted at the bar. Supermartket on site, could buy lunch/alcohol etc and take by the pool. Easy walking distance to the beach and to the centre. Taxi to Amadores beach which is lush was 3 1/2 euros. (dead cheap) Gran Canaria is a TAX FREE island so everything's cheap. We'd recommend (if eating in town) going to the Miami or Planet steakhouses, very cheap and the steaks (and everything else for that matter) are huge and delicious, the staff there are also very very friendly! Last day we went to the Fat Pig and had a 'fry up', totally English and great mug of tea, very welcome after 9 day's of alcohol. Gutted to be home and definately a serious contender for next year's holiday, especially since I've just heard how expensive it is now in the Balearics.
Just a note, if anybody wishes to go to Aqualand in Maspolomas (the aqua park in Peurto rico is no longer there) then be prepared for long queues at the bus stop, buses only run every half hour to there til midday, and on return, they only run every hour,(finishing around 5pm) hence we left quite early to avoid the mayhem like there was when going there and you end up missing out on a lot of the day, also, we were told that you couldn't take food in, but, we took a large bag for our towels etc and nobody checked or asked if we had food so I'm pretty sure you can take what you like.
In all, a great holiday, Thankyou to all at the Revoli!!!

Room Tip: Higher room's probably have a better view and are quieter as the entertainment is on the ground...

Great holiday could not fault the accommodation or staff. The lifeguard was superb very safety conscious and kind to the children. Very clean and close to centre. There is a supermarket within 5 minutes walk and one on site. Spacious accommodation and large balcony, if you want a nice view request a high floor.

Room Tip: If you wish a quiet room request one higher up, but it is not too noisy anyway.

Room Tip: We was on floor four room 428/429 and not noisy, eg banging doors ,but you could hear entertainment...

What a hotel the staff are great and will do anything for you even make the kids feel special the hotel bar has everything you would expect very well stocked the price of drinks is reasonable €2.85 for a beer €3.50 for a bottle of strongbow £6 for a cocktail two for €10 at happy hour the times of happy hour's are 2-3 6-7 9-12 so drink wisely the hotel restaurant is again excellent only had a evening meal and a couple of snacks but well worth a visit leo the entertainer is a legend he takes the time to get to know you and the kids loved him trys to get everyone involved in the activities witch are fun only two bad points get up at the crack of dawn for a sunbed all gone for 8.30 and the pigeons they're everywhere in the hotel grounds but no cockrocthers never saw one in the hotel all in all I would definitely recommend this hotel you will love it I did

Just got back from 2 week stay at the Revoli, and really liked the hotel. Rooms large, bright, airy with air con for free, and clean. Comfy beds with pull out sofa beds in lounge area. Very modern and big balcolny.
You have to pay extra for safe, tv satellite channels, and WIFI ( This is a bit hit and miss)
The food and service is really good. Buffet style menu, with eat as you much policy! Varied dishes which were of good quality. We tended to eat at the hotel most of the time as we found the local restaurants a bit hit and miss.
Happy hour 3 times a day.
Great entertainment with Leo if you stay in hotel.
Bianca is a great rep, bubbly personality and always helpful and approachable.

The bad bit about the hotel is the sunbed situation, we could never get one. The hotel has a no towels on sunbed policy before 10am but everyone ignores it!

I was up at 8 one morning and all the sunbeds had towels on, and no one was in the pool, and only 2 people around pool, so we had no chance!!

Trips to Puerto de Mogan, Palamitos park are well worth it.
I didn't like Puerto Rico commercial center,
Great beaches at Puerto escala (sun beds and parasols are expensive) area and Amodores beach is picture post card.

Room Tip: Ask for a higher floor with sea view for peace and quiet. We stayed in 603, good wifi on balcony ar...
