Hotel Llevant is a small hotel in the pretty, small resort of Llafranc. There is a sandy beach outside and an attractive harbour/marina at the other end of the bay. The hotel is ideally placed for exploring the coastal footpaths of this beautiful and comparatively unspoilt area of the Costa Brava.
The hotel is family owned and run and has a very friendly feel in every way. We were made very welcome and all the staff took real care and interest. All spoke English, many of them very well.
The restaurant served good food. We chose the set menu, which was very good every day, but there was also a good selection of 'a la carte' options.
Some of the rooms have a balcony and sea view (including ours) and this is a real bonus.
For us, the only downside was that smoking was allowed in the bar area, but this reflects the limited space in the hotel.More
