i went to the tahiti play with my school last year the age of us was 14-16 and i enjoyed the holiday and the hotel was nice the only thing i didn't like was the food me and my friends ended up going to the burger king that was across the road every night. The location is excellent it is about an hours coach ride away from barcelona and is situated on a street ful of shops and other hotels it is also basically on the beach however the beach was not that good. The pool was amazing but you aren't aloud to wear clothing in the pool it has to be swimwear so my friend couldn't leave her shorts on in the pool. there is a small jacuzzi but it wasn't switched on alot of the time. the beds where fairly comfy and the rooms where clean when we arrived. I am going back again this year and i can't wait but the hotel is not the thing that is making me go back..

Room Tip: try not to get a room on the side

Stayed here as staff member on a school trip with 60 boys. Staff were rude and unhelpful from the start.

Hotel is full of OAPs and evening entertainment reflects this.

From checking in for our 7 night stay to leaving we could not fault anything at this hotel. All the staff were very friendly and helpful, the rooms very clean, food was excellent ( I particularly liked the idea of the microwaves in the dining room, so no excuse for luke warm food), pool area kept spotless. Everyone was up dancing to the entertainment each evening, and it had a really friendly atmosphere. As it was out of season we did not expect it to be busy, but it was everynight, and the restaurant coped extremely well with over 800 guests. Excellent value for money.

Room Tip: Avoid a room near to the lifts.

My daughter and her partner stayed here with their 2 year old son, whilst my husband and I stayed opposite in the Indalo Park Hotel, which I may add was amazing..... We did a lunch swap one day and they went to our hotel and we ate heree at the Tahiti Playa, we were not impressed, it was like eating (being watched by the Gustappo),, the staff watched what food you took, the dining area had no atmospehere and compared to the Indalo Park the food here was rubbish, boring food, not a lot of choice at all, and I personally found the staff quite intemidating stood their watching what food you took.. I would not stay there myself, the room appeared to be old fashioned, and my daughter wont be staying their again, Indalo Park every time!!!

If you have a chance to stay in Tahiti Playa Hotel, you will be delighted to try the food prepared by hotel cheffs. There is such a wonderful selection of dinner dishes that you will be spoilt for choice. We both felt like in culinary heaven. The broad selection included a range of salads, 4-5 main hot dishes, desserts (cakes, different flavours of cream), fruit and ice-cream.
The cleanliness of this hotel was of a very high standard. The rooms and the whole hotel were thoroughly cleaned every day.
The hotel is situated on the beach, no need to cross a busy road, which is convenient when you have children. The beach is clean, with showers provided after a swim in the salty sea.
It takes about 1 hour to get to Barcelona by train, so also the location is a big plus. Generally, it was a very good holiday, with fantastic weather (still 27 degrees in October), lovely sightseeing places around Costa Brava and mouthwatering food!

Hotel has an impressive location right on the beach. Resturant was nice and clean but food was always the same, the "hot" food was not always very hot and getting to it was a bit of a trial at times, but very adequate for what we paid. I found the layout very disorganised especially at breakfast when you had to struggle to get your hot drink from the vending machine, I was not supprised to see people crashing into each other as they struggled to get around the crowded buffet service.
It was just as well we decided on the beach for our morning sunbathing. The pool loungers were full of towels with hardly no one sitting on them (they all obviously got up early to lay claim to them!) There is not a lot to do outside the hotel except see the usual tacky tourist shops, a few bars and loads of other hotels. You could take the train and visit the wonderful Barcelona about an hour away and well worth the train ride which was a lovely ride and air conditioned!
The hotel room we were allocated was at the side of the hotel in a horrid situation, we were placed over the main entrance and right next to the railway line and a very busy noisy road. Impossible to sleep because of the traffic and throbbing disco music and when disco turned out so did the "LOUDMOUTHS" who kicked in for the rest of the night (nightmare) After two nights of this we asked to be moved, we were moved alright but at an extra cost to us!!! I was left wondering if they do this on purpose knowing full well that guests would probably be asking to move rooms! I see lots of rooms overlooking the pool during my stay NOT being used.
Overall though the Hotel was very clean. I would only recommed this hotel to people with children. The kids all seemed to really enjoying themselves with plenty of entertainment for them. We had a lovely holiday apart from the hotel room situation. P.S... Beds were hard and air conditioning was useless. You need a fan in them rooms especially at night.
I would visit the resort again but not stay at this hotel.

Hotel is near the beach, which, with good pool, is main advantage of this hotel in Santa Susana. Again, if you have a room with pool view, this is OK, but if you don't ... We had a room which was not with pull view, and it was on western side of the hotel, near thalasa apartments - no privacy at all at the balcony. Also, on this side across the street is the Disco, which makes a lot of noise until midnight. When the disco finishes, one finally can sleep, but until he is waken by people who are supplying hotel with food and everything else - on this side of the hotel is the main supply door, so it becomes noisy again in the morning. After 2 nights we changed the room and side of the hotel, and we could sleep much better. Hotel stuff will not make for you more than they have to, so don't expect too much from them. Food is solid, with a lot of fresh fruits, but without soups (ok, there is one kind of the soup from time to time, but is not usual soup but Spanish tomato soup - served cold). In the morning you can take water, juices and coffee free of charge - later during the day for other meals you must pay any additional drink which you drink in the restaurant. Santa susana is just near Malgrat de Mar, but in general, there is nothing to see in these places - only sea, beach, pull and one street where there is a lot of shops,Good thing is that Barcelona is near, so it is good opportunity to go and see this great city. Also, Marineland ammusement park is near, so you can enjoy the shows with Dolphins and sea lions. So, for us it was OK, but in general, the hotel is ... average.
