First class. Staff are friendly and helpfull, the food is outstanding in value, variety, freshness and taste. Restaurant staff are lovely and tend to your every need courteously and with a smile. We stayed in one of the larger apartments and it was perfect, with a pool and see view (as requested). Unfortunately the weather wasn't as good as we'd hoped and the pool was too cold to enjoy, even on hot days when we could sunbathe, but that's not a criticism, just a fact. However, we do suggest that night security petrols the grounds at the weekend, as many young locals were very noisy outside our apartment up until 3:30 am and made sleep impossible. The appartments would also benefit from a night watchman on the reception desk, (which closes in the early evening) to keep excessive noise in the hallways down after mid night, made by people coming back after nights out(very noisy). Also, we only saw a lifeguard once at the hotel pool during our stay. I'm sure this is different in peak season but still should be a must when the public are frequenting the area. Apart from my criticisms, which are only to help, I would come back without hesitation. Our stay was excellent

Really nice hotel. Maybe the hotel management read all the reviews like me, so I didn`t notices rude personnel, damages in the rooms (we were group, so I looked over 4 rooms). Only stays the elevator issue.
PERFECT location. It is not a luxury hotel, but it is clean, tidy and obviously renovated. Nice pool, supermarket right across the street, a lot of shops. All the rooms have very limited space for personal belongings and there is only one electricity plug in the room /second one in bathroom/, so if you go to this hotel, definitely bring your own traveller connection-block. To switch on the refrigerator you must pay for small, medium or large mini-bar package, but when you calculate the price, is the same like you buy all the stuff from the supermarket.
I was very happy with my stay here and for sure I will come back.

Room Tip: If you go there, ask for "pool view" room and ask a lower floor in order to use the stairs...

Stayed here at the end of Oct/beg Nov for 5 nts. We usually stay BB, but booked HB this time, and it's just as well since EVERYWHERE else in this resort was closed! This is NOT a winter resort. If it's near the end of Oct or later, book either Calella/Lloret de Mar. At least there are some shops/cafes there to use. There was NOTHING open in Santa Susanna at all.
In saying that, the weather was brilliant. In fact you could even swim in the outdoor pools it was SO hot, which we hadn't expected.
The hotel in itself was okay, but there are not many British tourists who use this hotel. It's mostly French - and I mean BUSLOADS of French! So much so that the entertainment was in French (and was dire!). There was also another lounge, but we were not allowed to enter these areas of the hotel! (2 members of staff to stop you entering!). they were for the French only!
We didn't just feel like second class citizens in this hotel - it was worse than that - we felt like we were non-existent! The newspapers in the lounges are all in French, and to be honest they didn't mingle with us at all. Truth be known - they turned out to be the rudest people we have EVER encountered!
They have NO concept of queuing, which gets VERY annoying whilst waiting on lifts, or entering the restaurant etc! For this reason alone, I would NOT recommend this hotel to UK visitors! My husband was constantly telling them off for pushing me out of the way.
There are TVs in all the bedrooms with over 55 channels, but only ONE channel in English - BBC World News! Loads of channels in French though! In all honesty, we would have hated our stay here had we not paid extra for a sea view! - it would have felt like being in jail otherwise, since nowhere else was open!
The location of the hotel is excellent - right on the beach. We did feel that the hotel was a bit greedy, in that you had to pay to hire a key to use the fridge already in your room, and also pay for wifi (14 Eu for 3 days!) or you could use their computers which were completely dodgy, and kept cutting out, which meant you had to log in again and again - taking 5 mins each time, meaning you spent a fortune to use them (worst computers I've EVER used at a cost of 3 Eu for 30 mins!)
The rooms had a lack of storage space. there were NO drawers at all. In fact we ended up using our hand luggage small cases as drawers! There were only 5 coat hangers between two of us. There wasn't a full length mirror in the room either, and the shower was not possible to use for just washing your hair - you had to have a full shower each time.
On the plus side, there was a little welcome pack in the bathroom which was useful (but not replaced once used!) which had shower gel, shampoo, shower cap, razor, soap & tissues. So you still need to take your own - a bit of a minus if travelling with hand luggage alone.
Towels were fine - one bath and one hand towel each.
The food in the hotel was a bit of a hit and a miss. Breakfast was NOT the best we've had! It was OK - filled a space, which was just as well since there was nowhere else to eat in the whole resort anyway! Dinner was better, but nothing to write home about.
They had microwaves at the end of each display area, which you do need to use to heat up your food since it was mostly just luke warm. The two guys working at the restaurant door were the friendliest people we met here. If it hadn't been for them we probably wouldn't have had contact with anyone else in this hotel! We tried speaking to other guests but they were just VERY rude, and would blank us completely...
In the bar they had a cocktail list, and all cocktails were 4.25 Eu. My husband went to get me a Pina Colada and asked for it with vodka instead of bacardi and was told they couldn't do this for 4.25 Eu - it would be 8.50 Eu for that! We declined!
Our room was on floor 7 which was fine, but our balcony felt like it was sloping down which was a wee bit disconcerting! I felt quite uncomfortable standing on it. The light on the balcony was controlled by the hotel itself, so you had no option to switch it off to stop moths etc coming to it.
We flew into Barcelona Airport on this occasion, but wouldn't do this again - it took 3hrs for our transfer since it was rush hour in Barca - our flight from the UK only took 2.5 hrs!
The trains from Santa Susanna to Barcelona took just over an hour, and you can get a combined ticket for the train journey & open top bus tour for 26 Eu (the bus itself is 26 Eu for 1 day) so it's a great saving. The trains are VERY impressive and great for disabled - easy access trains with disabled toilets. The UK could learn a lot from the Spanish transport system. (the tour buses have spaces for disabled too). The train journey takes you right along the coast and it's a lovely wee trip.
On the whole we had a good holiday, but we travelled to Calella, Lloret & Barcelona to amuse ourselves. Don't think we'd go back to this hotel again. Location perfect, but if you have been brought up with manners, you would find it VERY difficult not to be offended by the amount of rude and arrogant French people here with NO manners whatsoever, and the fact of the matter is, this hotel panders to them, and certainly NOT the UK guests!

Room Tip: Book Calella/Lloret/Barcelona instead for a winter holiday. Do not travel to this resort from the en...

We have just returned from a lovely holiday in the Tahiti Playa Hotel . We were lucky to have a great sea view, which was worth it.The hotel is excellent in many ways, for us the best bit about it was the location directly on the beach, the cleanliness and lovely staff. We also really enjoyed the food!!! it was definitely more catering for the spanish and french which we really enjoyed! !!!We also visited the beautiful Girona and Barcelona, both just a train ride away from Santa Susanna station.
wonderful place....we will come again one day!!!!

We stayed here for 7 nights for our anniversary. The hotel is very nice, it was clean, lots of sunbeds and a lovely pool. We stayed B&B and the breakfast is pretty much what you would expect. The hotel was clearly winding down as was the rest of the resort, so be mindful if booking in October that there is not much still open in Santa Susanna.
The hotel is right on the beach, and our room had a lovely view over the pool and beach. In the summer when there is more entertainment it would have been a great room to sit and sup beer on the balcony. I would definitely stay here again, and would love to go back sometime when it is not the end of season.
