rooms was very clean and not a bad size bathroom was nice with good shower beds was a bit hard best rooms to ask for is a pool room view as you can see the entertainment from your balcony. the food was not bad the was always somethink to eat but warning cater more for foreigners than the british and the bar is very dear best drinking in Riviera next door lot cheeper or go to drunking duck great pub just round corner, but apart from that hotel not to bad.

Room Tip: ask for pool view room

Stayed here for a week half board with friends. The hotel was nice and clean and our room overlooked the pool which was nice.
The food was not too good.the bacon was circle of warm greasy ham that was inedible. Everything was okish.
The evening meal wasn't too vad just not our tastes.we ate out most nights. And only had breakfast the first morning and then ate out each morning as well.
Hotel entertainment was brilliant..people moaned about the noise but I dont mind that.
We were only 5 minutes from the beach.
The prom is lovely at night and there is a nice italian pizza restaurant where its nice to sit have a cocktail and people watch. They have craft stalls along the prom at night which are lovely to walk around.
There is also a market once a week if you fancy a bargain.
Also the train is about a ten minute walk away from hotel and we went to Barcelona for rhe day from there for about 8 euros each.
From santa susanna you can walk along the frint to malgrat de mar and another little place but can't remember name sorry. Its a lovely walk with lots of little shops and coffee bars and restaurants along the way.

Hi,
I am just returned from Santa Susanna, Spain, where I spent 6 nights in hotel Alhambra, located in city center. This hotel has 2 parts, one renovated and one in the back yard. I stayed in the renovated part on the 5th. floor. The room itself was very nice, clean and fully equipped - air condition, refrigerator, wifi and safe. For a 3*** hotel really nice. The half board was very rich and tasty, except the breakfasts, almost the same food. I came after the high season and so I paid for all journey a very affordable price for everyone. The weather was more than lovely and average temperature was around 30°C and only by departure it was a slight rain a little humid. The beach is about 5 minutes walking distance from the hotel, hotel swimming pool is offering not much as it is mostly shadow there and not big place for relax. This are the positives. Negative is big noise from every side till 2 a.m. Therefore this hotel I can recommend only for dance lovers and young generation, loving discos. Only one small elevator is not enough for the hotel capacity. If you like to use wifi, safe, refrigerator or even remote control to TV, you need to pay extra money for everything except the remote controller, as you get your money back, when you return this controller. In the room you will not find any glasses except plastic 2 plastic cups. The reception and all other stuff speak English, so no problem to communicate and they are very friendly. If you are looking for a quite accommodation is better to avoid this hotel.

Room Tip: Good for young generation.

Just returned from first holiday in this hotel , was a bit concerned about some of the reviews , don't take any notice ,Hotel is spotless ,rooms are lovely , food was good ,plenty of choice and staff were very pleasant and helpful . The entertainment was also very good , yes it was loud ,but that's holidays ,not a sound after midnight ,so not a problem , will definitely go back .

We didn't stay in the Alhambra but I felt I had to put a review on because we spent every night in the Alhambra - & the rating is based on this - we have been to Santa Susanna before & went to the Alhambra a couple of times so when we went back the position of our hotel was picked because of the closeness to this hotel - we cannot praise the waiters in this hotel enough always a smile , nothing too much trouble & such hard workers - we stayed next door & watched them preparing for the evening entertainment very efficient we had a couple of evenings with early rain showers which made there jobs really hard as tables & chairs had to be wiped down after every shower such hard work for them there should be some sort of canopy over seating area which would make their jobs easier & the boss man more money as customers would be sheltered from the rain - the entertainment was excellent especially Simon Grant - yes we will go back & yes this will be our local when we are there

The service was poor, very dated hotel also smelt mosty, dining room disapointing, service poor & unfreindly, cramped area, needs up dating, the best thing was the entertainment fab enjoyed that the most saved the holiday. wont go again.

Just returned from our second visit to this hotel. Yes, it can be very noisy in the evenings so if you want a quiet break don't go here. We took our granddaughter again and She loved it. Left her to take herself to the 'kids club in the knowledge that it is safe (although we could see her all the time, she didn't know it). The food was good with lots of choice with a carvery on the Friday night for dinner. Lovely roast pork with the most amazing sauce. The staff were friendly, helpful and always polite. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Would certainly go again....
