Very nice hotel, the owner is friendly, the rooms are clean and comfortable, the bathroom is impeccable, breakfast is delicious turkish stile! best olive oil and a kind of feta cheese, the figs were awesome, The only problem is that the Mosque is too close so when the 5 am praying starts you hear it out loud, rise and shine!! you will enjoy it!!

Our three-day, self-planned trip to Cappodocia would have been difficult without the help of hotel owner Salih Birbilen. I emailed that we had only one planned item, a balloon trip, and asked his advice on other things to see.

He arranged our pickup (a 45-minute drive from Kayseri Airport), coordinated pickup with Royal Balloons, scheduled us for an all-day tour, then found a driver for us when we told him we wanted to see the Hidden City of Kaymakli. All was planned in detail, and when Turkish Airlines changed our flight time, he helped us through the Turkish phone system. For all pickups at the hotel, a staff member came out and saw that we were taken care of with the drivers, and even for the 5 a.m. balloon pickup, Birbilen himself got up to assure that our pickup arrived as scheduled. Such wonderful sights and care made this stay the highlight of our trip to Turkey.

We decided to stay in Mustafapasa, formerly the Greek town of Sinasos, based on photos of the hotel and Trip Advisor comments. Mustafapasa was a quieter alternative to the larger and more touristy Urgup and Goreme, but close enough to get picked up for tours. The town is small, with restaurants, small groceries, a few shops, and post office to change money, all only a few minutes walk from the hotel.

The Perimasali Cave Hotel is a sculptural work of art, the vision of Salih Birbilen, who transformed a crumbling mansion built into the tufa rock, into a cave hotel.

Our suite, the Daphne, included carved, arched walls and relief carvings of a semi-nude woman and a man (perhaps Daphne and the god who pursued her). The suite had a jacuzzi, and the bathroom a tile and stone shower. Everything is modern.

The bed was very comfortable, mattress on a stone base. The velvet divan was luxurious, comfortable, and decorated with pillows. Two chairs and small table were at the fireplace, a desk and refrigerator in the entry foyer. The cave room was well-insulated.

The modernized features included LED lighting throughout, which cast a soft blue glow and also was a nighttime safety feature.

Breakfast on the terrace included dried fruit and nuts, olives, cheeses, bread, delicious yoghurt, choice of coffee or tea, jams, honey and on some days, eggs cooked to order. The hotel has a number of terraces that overlook Mustafapasa, as well as a small breakfast room in case of bad weather. Eventually, the hotel will include a restaurant and more rooms.

It was extraordinary to visit the wonders of Cappodocia, then return for the night to a work of art, as well as be taken care of from start to finish by this amazing and attentive staff.

Salih, the owner of the hotel is very helpful in planning our trip to Cappadocia, all the arrangement, from airport pickup, Gerome Tour, Hotair Balloon.. was confirmed before our arrival. FYI, he does not operate the Tour/ Hotair Balloon/Transport, he just help to make the planning for us.

From the picture of the hotel itself, i believe it will really attract you for a stay in this hotel, especially u are going for honeymoon.. which we were.. very Nice of Salih, he upgraded our room as he knew that we were there for honeymoon.. really unexpected and appreciated.. On arrival, he called all the tour company/shuttle company to confirm the time and plan..

the room was really beautiful, each room with different design, can see that, he really put great efforts into it.. we rate it 6stars!... and not forgetting, they even provided all the toiletries, complimentary drinking water, tea, coffee, slippers for 2... (as some 5 stars hotel in Istanbul, can't even provide drinking water, slippers..and lobby helper to handle our luggage)..

the breakfast was good, nice setting in the cafe, and they made tea/coffee/eggs, on the spot according to your likes..

my laundry was wet due to rain before i arrived, they offered me to dry it under the sun at their terrace cafe, and even i realized that they adjusted for me, to make sure that it dry faster. It was raining when we were out of the hotel for dinner, i was worried that my clothes will be wet, when i return, salih told me his staff already kept them and folded it for me.. :)

thanks Salih for the hospitality! appreciate that alot.. :)

I recently staying in Permasali for 3 days and was so happy with the choice. The hotel is beautiful and the town of Mustafapasha is so superior to Goreme or Urgup. Sali, the hotels owner speaks perfect english and really knows how to run a boutique hotel. The rooms are beautifully decorated and the breakfast is amamzing. In addition he recommened the Villa Colombo in town for home cooked food and we ate there every night.

Staying at this hotel was an awesome experience. The hotel itself is unique, very clean, and although is located in a cave, it has a lot of modern touches. Keep in mind that it does not have an elevator, so I don't think it would work well for the disabled or those who can't climb stairs.

All in all, staying at Salih's hotel was one of my favourite experiences in my trip to Turkey. The owner Salih is a helpful, gracious and very professional man. I would strongly recommend this hotel!!!!

Staying in this unique cave hotel was a great experience. Our room was very dark and cool which made for a lovely escape from the heat. Salih and his team were very friendly and made sure that we were very comfortable during our stay.

The owner, Salih, makes a stay at the Cave Hotel Perimasali unique. He is a very nice person who you are very sorry to leave when you depart. He pays attention to every detail, from breakfast to the hotel door greetings. The hotel is very clean, new and comfortable ... a romantic place where you have to go when you visit the beautiful Cappadocia!
