Absolutely wonderful place to spend a few days among the interesting landscape of Cappadocia. Not touristy but luxury with an absolutely wonderful breakfast and the best bathroom anywhere in Turkey. We were presented with a nice flavorful hot tea upon arrival. Love, love, love the place.

Room Tip: Off season you get a better value

We are so happy to hear that you enjoyed our special tea. We use natural honey and different herbs, inluding linden, mint, sage, ginger and lemon and brew for some time.

We look forward to seeing you in Cappadocia again.

Kind Regards,

Yunus Yılmaz

This is a grand and luxurious property. The setting is very beautiful on the edge of an ancient village. The friendly staff, lovely rooms/suites and picturesque setting made our short stay delightful. Traditional turkish breakfast was very good, and it is a short walk to the historic Old Greek House, serving the best turkish food of our entire triip. We look forward to our next visit.

Thank you for your kind review, we are happy to hear that you enjoyed the breakfast and the meals.
As a matter of fact, we shop for ingredients almost daily including the meat to provide the freshest possible to our guests. It is very awarding to see that the food is appreciated.
And, the paintings and other art work in the rooms are once collected by the owner of our hotel for their personal use. After they had restored this hotel, they decided to display them in the hotel instead of keeping for ourselves.
We look forward to seeing you in our hotel again in the future.
Kind Regards,
Yunus Yılmaz

This was a little side trip from Istanbul. I just happened upon this place and really enjoyed it! The staff was helpful in getting to know the area and the rooms were excellent. The location is in a nice little village. I loved the village style breakfast. You will have a great time if you come here!

Room Tip: I think they are all nice!

By far this was the best hotel we stayed in during our entire trip in Turkey - and we stayed in some very charming spots! The staff was wonderful and helpful! I came as a part of a tour and thus was able to take a peek at several rooms. All the rooms all wonderfully appointed with slightly different configurations. Some had sitting rooms while others had nice reading nooks. All rooms were very spacious. Beds were soft and the hotel provided extra blankets if you got cold at night. The rooms are so quiet - you are in a cave after all! My favorite part was the heated floors in the bathroom - what a treat on cold mountain mornings!

High speed internet with a wireless router in every room made for easy interneting in a cave. We were able to do laundry (at 20TL per smallish bag). Breakfasts were generous and delicious. The homemade kiwi preserves were so good, I ate three slices of bread!

The most wonderful part about this hotel were the common areas where you could sit out and enjoy the sunset with a glass of wine. They have several seating areas to accommodate large groups or just couples. The arrangement of the terraces and seatings areas makes the outdoor areas feel very private.

I must return as I had such a sensation stay!

After a long day exploring the region, Cappadocia Estates lets you really wind down. I simply ran a bath in the jacuzzi tub and stepped out onto the heated stone tile floors - I was like a new person. Then, the traditional village breakfast was a perfect start to the day. Definitely recommended.

Dear Janette,

We are so glad you enojyed the jacuzzi tub and the heated floors. We had the very same idea for them as when we were building the hotel, so that guests can take a bath to rest and wind down after a day of high energy sight seeing in Cappadocia.

We hope you will visit us soon again.

Kind Regards,

Lale Surmen Aran

The room I stayed was quite spacious with a flat screen LCD TV, a jacuzzi, floor heating and authentic furniture. There were beautiful carpets on the floor. The queen bed was very comfortable. Soft and new towels, complimentary slippers and tradiional decoration were extra touches.

I loved the rich breakfast which is served on the 2nd floor, up on the terrace. Home made jam, oven fresh bread, scrambled eggs, organic butter and black olives were simply delicious. The coffee was not instant, it was real filtered coffee. The only thing missing was some cereal and fruit.

I liked the whole ambiance where I could read my book, work in front of my computer with an uninterrupted free wireless access.

If you are looking for a quaint, quiet and charming hotel where you can relax, study or work while enjoying your vacation, go for this hotel. If you are looking for more action, you might feel a bit isolated.
