Lovely restaurant but very busy in the evenings so you need to book well in advance. Visited for lunch and when you do get to eat here, you won't be disappointed. Delicious and very reasonably priced. Also well-behaved dogs are welcome!
Whilst you're here, visit the little photo gallery upstairs for some cracking photography by a very talented member of staff.

We went in for dinner one evening only to be disappointed and told that we should have booked a week earlier! So busy and after going back for lunch it's easy to see why. A really varied menu and lots of daily fish specials to choose from. They offered brunch, lunch, sharing platters and an express lunch from a set menu as well as lots of delicious looking cakes and deserts if you're just going for a nice cuppa! The evening menu looked just as lovely and they were very accomodating for veggies with some good choices! Really doggy friendly and a lovely and helpful lady who sold her own photographs from the harbour in a little gallery upstairs, which were stunning too. Highly recommended and highly recommend booking if you want to do dinner especially! The sweet potato wedges with baked Camembert and homemade onion jam was to die for. We'll be back!!

We were taken here by our holiday hosts for lunch. The choice of fish dishes is excellent - I had pan fried plaice which was the tastiest piece of fish I have had in a long time due to its freshness. Husband had a monkfish and prawn tagliatelle which was also excellent. Small range of good desserts. Friendly and helpful staff. Hope to come back next time we are nearby in Cornwall. Cakes look good too!

Visited twice whilst on a 2 week holiday in Porthleven, and as always the food and service was exceptional, nothing is to much trouble for the staff at Seadrift.

Make sure you visit the gallery above the restaurant a hidden treasure.

The food was imaginative and well cooked. Hearty rather than haute cuisine but at the very high end of bistro food.

The cafe layout seemed to engender a party atmosphere with lots of laughing and animated conversation.

All age groups - no need to dress up - but if you wish to that would seem to be fine as well.

A fun night out with great food.

Book in advance in the holiday season or you won't get in.
