We didn't eat in the restaurant but had a takeaway from here twice during our stay - we liked it the first time so went back for more. The food was hot and tasty, didn't bother with delivery as only a 2 minute walk from our cottage. Would definitely go back again.

Stay far, far away from this restaurant. I ordered their Thai green curry and it was like something that came out of an old shoe. The consistency of slime, tasteless, and far too spicy. It was inedible, not to mention one of the most disgusting looking dishes I've ever seen. I love Thai and Chinese food and have ordered green curries across the world, this was hands down the absolute worst. When I tried to bring it back to the restaurant to swap for a different dish, the manager was very rude and refused to exchange it for something else on the menu, telling me that "it's very popular." Right. Maybe with seagulls -- although I suspect even they might rather starve than eat it. This was also the only time in my life that I've ever tried to return a dish to a kitchen. It's no surprise this place is listed at 21st out of 21 restaurants in Porthleven, STAY FAR AWAY.

First of all our coke was flat . Prawn crackers were soft and then the food came out it went from bad to worse, noodles were rock hard couldn't letrelly snap them ! Ladies were nice and polite but food was poor! Our last night on holiday we was hoping for a nice meal.

Year on year the Moonflower has slowly descended into the depths of culinary hell. Tonight was the final nail in the coffin for us.

The telephone manner, and delivery speed were as always very good but this is where it stops. The food was in a nutshell 'pants'!

If you like salt you may like the food, but after finishing our meal we all felt our lips had shrivelled from the massive salt overload. The MSG too was way over the top. The sauces on all of our dishes was so MSG rich that the spoon could be held upside down and remain on it.

To sum the food up - Salty flavourless gloop!

Farewell Moonflower.
