“Lovely location but pusged out the door”
Reviewed 23 June 2014 via mobile

Have eaten here a few times and enjoy the location and the wide choice of food on the menu - something for everyone. We were enjoying our lunch and complementing the food until a waitress waltzed over and began clearing our plates! The customer service from this young girl ruined the exceptional service provided by the girl who we ordered with. Two of us still had mouth fulls and after ordering a large order for 6 people we did not expect to be pushed on. We understand the importance of cleaning tables but not whilst eating! Would not put us off but a bit of a tarnish on the experience.

“Great place to eat”
Reviewed 21 June 2014

The best place to eat in Teignmouth if you want to view the sea at the same time. They have an extensive menu for what I would call a glorified cafe. The cakes are to die for. All home made. The lemon meringue is a must have. Portions are not small either. It is always busy inside but there are plenty of sheltered seats and tables outside closer to the beach wall. There is car parking but you have to drive around a while to find a space. It is very popular. We go to it the same time every year.

“A good stop by the sea”

A nice place and a grear view over the sea . This is a Starbucks so you know what you are getting on the menu . The only problem is you might have to go back afew times to get your order right.

“Im a regular, and for good reason!”
Reviewed 18 June 2014 via mobile

I often visit The Beachcomber for lunch with friends. On a sunny day its a very picturesque place to eat as its situated right on the seafront. I have no complaints about the service as staff are very polite. Food portions are generous and their home made cakes are divine, I recommend their malteeser slice. They cater brilliantly for children, have a good selection and prices reflect the quality of food.
