Location very good. Sea view from room. Breakfast not bad.Stayed for 1 week.on a walking holiday.with a group. Our room was on top floor up 59 steps. No lift. Walls in the room damp making our clothes damp.No water for shower or even coming out the taps on most nights. When it did finally arrive it was cold or tepid. The water cut off half way through a shower on more then one occasion. When we told them on the first day there was no water out of the shower we were told to hang he shower head down as it had to be pumped from the ground floor then back up to the top. After more then 20 mins no result. The rooms were all full as we were a rambling club. When a couple of rooms had showers there was no water left for anyone else,Even if we staggered the bathing it made no difference.Yes there was beaming smiles till you complained. Most rooms were shabby and the hotel needs up dating and cleaning.. Would certainly not go back.. .

First time at this hotel and glad that I chose this one. Room very good with excellent sea view. Food excellent and made very welcome by Lorraine and Chris. Would certainly stay here again and would recommend it to all my friends.

Had a great stay here with my 2 small boys. Amazing location and I was made to feel very welcome. Great value and although the decor is slightly dated, we were very comfortable in the spacious family room.

This is a classic B&B but perfect in every respect - the location is great, right on the sea front and only 5 mins walk from anywhere in the town.

Inside our room was spotless and comfortable, shower was powerful and we had a lovely sea view.

A gorgeous cooked breakfast both mornings was always served with a beaming smile by the landlady who made us feel very welcome.

You cannot go wrong with this place if you are staying in Teignmouth.

We were booked in on a Sun holiday but the accommodation was so bad we had to leave and as we had our dog with us were a little worried about where we might end up. Lovely lady took us in for the week and looked after us and our dog to perfection! Cosy and clean rooms, great breakfast - just the right amount. And not silly money either. Great location to walk or drive from to numerous great places in Devon. Turned what was nearly a disaster into a lovely week. Bit of a bouncy bed but nothing is perfect!

Room Tip: Sea view is great if you can get it.

We stayed here after our holiday in Cornwall and needed a place for the night to break up the journey. We were shown the family room which on the surface looked ok although decor had long seen better days. Had it not been almost 8pm and with a five year old in tow, I would probably have said no but had tried all other places in the town which were full.
Went out for food and once we came back to settle in the room, realised it wasn't completely clean, with makeup on the throws on the beds and hairs inside the bed! The mattress was so uncomfortable and we could feel the springs popping through, hence we woke often during the night. The next morning we went down for breakfast which was a less than average affair involving cheap frozen sausages and other produce. As my husband reached out to his chair to sit on it, it fell apart in his hand, at which point we laughed out loud! Shocking waste of money at £89 for the night. In retrospect, wish we had refused to pay full amount. My advise give it a miss!

A fairly old building but lovely owners and good location.. Right next to beach. Very welcoming... I "parked" my other half plus 18 month old daughter here for a week and they loved it... Great breakfast btw ...
