“Teignmouths outdoor gem of a cafe”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 23 November 2013

Eastcliff Cafe is Teignmouths outdoor gem of a cafe. We love to sit and have a delicious bacon bap and cup of tea here all year round. The staff are really welcoming and friendly, Ian is an absolute local character and its a wonderful place to relax, especially in the summer. The cafe is well served by a great Facebook page, showing that you can sometimes catch the Steam Trains passing through, or the RNLI rescue services practicing out at sea. Like i said, GEM of a cafe. Support it!

“Simplicity done well”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 15 September 2013 via mobile

We have recently discovered this place, irrespective of the weather (this is Devon it rains often) this place offers great views along the beach and on a Sunday morning it's great to have a sausage sandwich and mug of tea and look out to the sea the rougher the better and enjoy the view. The service is friendly and welcoming and worth visiting when enjoying teignmouth.

“Great little cafe”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 7 September 2013

I first used to lunch here in 1954 when holidaying as a child. I now live here and we sometimes snack here when we have been in the sea. This cafe has great views, the staff are friendly and the food is good and very reasonably priced. Quite an achievement maintaining good standards for 60 years. Thoroughly recommended.

Stopped by for lunch, group of our, toasted cheese and marmite sandwich will always be greater with glee and didn't disappoint, a burger and two sausage and egg rolls, huge baps and a massive portion of chips, well worth a visit, and there was no bother from seagulls thanks to the staffs excellent clearing out skills

“Stunning views while having morning tea”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 22 August 2013 via mobile

Four of us stopped in Teignmouth for morning tea while driving song the coast for a day. We had 4 great coffee's,scones with jam and clotted cream all for just over £10. Good value and great seating outside right next to the beach with stunning views of the coast. Awesome!
