On our cycling trip through the south of England we got very wet in Teignmouth and looked for a dry place to stay. Everywhere we asked so for was fully booked. Janice just came back and although see was going on holiday herself the next day she took us in her nice house. We where so lucky. The room was nice, the view was very good. Only the weather was ugly.
She made pancake for our 2 sons. Excellent.
We would definitely try to stay there again if we ever come back to Teignmouth.
Please excuse our English, we are German. But we like to say thank you again for the help you gave us on our trip. Unfortunately it is over now. We love to come back

We found this place by accident whilst driving around looking for overnight accommodation. Luckily there was a space right outside which we could park in for free until the next morning. Janice the landlady was very friendly and made us very welcome. The large ensuite room was nice and clean with excellent sea views. We had a very good full English breakfast the next morning and would definitely stay there again.

Had a lovely four night stay in June 14. Excellent breakfast, especially the elderflower marmalade to set us on our way for long walks each day along the coast Teignmouth - Brixham. Our room had a lovely sea view and the landlady was very friendly and enjoyed our chats each day. Would most certainly recommend a stay at Beach Cottage. A & P

Having arrived at Teignmouth earlier than planned, we booked into Beach Cottage without checking reviews. We were delighted to find a charming beachfront cottage with a very friendly landlady. The room had a great sea view and an excellent breakfast was served. This was just what we needed after travelling all day, We felt like we were back home.

Room Tip: Second floor room with sea view

We had a 2 night stay at Beach Cottage and loved our comfortable room with sea views. Great breakfast, relaxed atmosphere, stimulating conversation (with the landlady) and plenty of entertainment from Teignmouth's Folk Festival made it a memorable weekend.

I am just back from a two night stay at Beach Cottage. The building has lots of character and the views are magnificent. Being right on the seafront is a treat. There is a very warm welcome and good quality breakfast with variety offered. Everything needed was accommodated making it a completely stress free trip. We will use again.

I have just had a weekend in Teignmouth to catch up with old school friends. I could not have picked a better place to stay in terms of location. A very short stroll from the train station, directly opposite the beach and two minutes from the town's amenities. Perfect! In addition, the B&B was just what I was looking for. Stress-free, comfortable, cosy and with a friendly and attentive owner/manager- Janice. I was greeted with a cheese scone and useful advice on where things were/how to get around.

I had a family room which was bright and airy- over looking the sea. It was wonderful to listen to the lapping waves and enjoy the view from the bay window whilst making use of the tea and coffee facilities in the room. The prices were reasonable, breakfast tasty and the stay overall very enjoyable. A family run home style B&B rather than a modern hotel, but it had everything I needed including WiFi access. I would recommend this place, and would definitely stay there again.

Room Tip: All doubles are sea view but there is also a small single with a modern refurbished bathroom for sol...
