My wife & I stayed at Peter & Val's lovely home for two nights whilst visiting relations. They are great hosts & made a memorable stay with their generous hospitality & attention. The bedroom & bathroom were very comfortable & clean, & the fridge on the landing most useful. We slept very well. We walked to the harbour & railway station & there are many attractions & sights nearby. We highly recommend Craigs & hope to return next year.

We booked all the rooms at The Craigs to accommodate a portion of our Choral Group that were performing at a local church. The rooms were booked for 3 nights and one room had single occupancy. We thought booking multiple rooms, with such individual requirements across a number of guest houses, would be a nightmare (especially over a bank holiday AND the County Show weekend). But we were wrong. Peter and Val could not have been more helpful. They catered for all our needs and were very understanding and flexible as these needs adjusted.
Although we didn't stay there ourselves, our fellow choir members said the rooms were great, the breakfast delicious and on top of all of that fantastic value for money. Furthermore, they also commented how friendly, helpful and accommodating Peter and Val were. Thank you so much for making our weekend tour a huge success.

As always a wonderful stay with Pete and Val they are the perfect hosts. Always welcoming and nothing is ever too much trouble. We have stayed here on many occasions and will be staying here many more. The bedrooms are a fantastic size and spotlessly clean with a lovely en-suite shower room. The breakfasts are wonderful there is a wonderful selection and cooked to perfection by Val. We brought our brother and sister-in-law Roy & Julie for the first time last year and now they keep asking when we are going again so that they can come as they love like we do.
The town is only a 10-15 min walk away from The Craigs with some fantastic eating places like the Trade Winds Restuarant, which you always have to book to avoid disappointment, and if you like indian food the Naz is the place to go.
All in all it is a fabulous place to go for a break and come away feeling like you have been totally spoilt.
We would thoroughly recommend the Craigs.

Room Tip: All rooms are fantastic.

Just returned home after our fifth stay at The Craigs and as usual cannot fault the experience.Beats many quality hotels in many respects. Next year cannot come quickly enough. The size and decor of the rooms is superb and the food and welcome outstanding.

Room Tip: Pick the Blue Room if possible for the best view.

We have just returned from our 5th stay at The Craigs in Teignmouth and like all previous visits, we had a wonderful time. Val and Peter are lovely hosts and they are always happy to help in any way they can. This is a beautiful guest house, our room (the blue room) was very spacious with a generous sized ensuite bathroom. Also, an added bonus is the lovely distant views of both the sea and the Estuary. We spent most late afternoons relaxing in the comfortable armchairs looking out over the Estuary enjoying a cup of tea. The breakfast menu was excellent. We enjoyed a English breakfast every morning which was cooked to perfection. The Craigs is well situated, about 15 minutes walk from Teignmouth Town Centre and the Railway station. Also, we enjoyed walking to nearby Shaldon over the bridge, this walks takes approximately 20 minutes. Shaldon has several nice cafes, restaurants and pubs so definitely worth a visit. We strongly recommend staying at The Craigs and I am sure we will be back again soon!
